  1. I'm just so !@#$ing disillusioned with this **** show. Beyond a joke.
  2. They can't have Donnie. They can bugger off. Best coach on the staff. @AlexMarvez Source tells @NFLonFOX that @buffalobills DBs coach Donnie Henderson won't be back. Possibility current Bills DC Dennis Thurman handles DBs
  3. He lost all confidence in his knee after the injury. Don't think for a second that wasn't compounded when Shanahan threw him back out there after he already injured himself. Just because they're athletes and they get paid millions doesn't negate the psychological effects. He played tentatively once he came back and that spelled disaster for him. He obviously has issues as a quarterback. Frankly, I don't know how anyone takes an Art Briles QB that early. That system doesn't lend itself to the NFL at all. I'm just not above giving the guy a second chance.
  4. I think he'll want to go somewhere that will allow him to compete for a starting job. That opportunity doesn't exist in Buffalo (that's really weird to say). I don't think he's a bad guy. Shanahan forced him into a horrible corner and ruined his career. Gruden discarded him and he kept his head down and helped Cousins as much as possible. I wouldn't mind him if he's willing to be a backup and he's relatively cheap.
  5. The one stat I saw on him made me cringe - https://twitter.com/CFBFilmRoom/status/684814998820921344 "Clemson LB Ben Boulware has missed 24% of his tackle attempts this season, among the worst rates we've charted." When you think about it, perfect Bills fit.
  6. Evan Engram is staying for his senior year, really good receiver. If he can build a rapport with Kelly, it could be useful for both of them. Also has Damore'ea Stringfellow who's immensely talented but dumb as a rock. Got booted out of Washington.
  7. Chad Kelly is officially staying at Ole Miss.
  8. Didn't want to start a new thread so I thought I'd drop this here. Really good analysis of Tyrod. Highlights strengths/weaknesses very well. http://playmakermentality.com/tyrod-taylor-here-to-stay
  9. No, no, no. I'm just going to laugh this off and spew hatred towards Rex until further notice. So, business as usual.
  10. I was as bullish as they come on Martavis but let's not pretend that he was the finished article. He came with a ton of baggage and needed multiple years to hone his craft. He's still not the finished article now. He fell because he was inconsistent, came out with limited tape and there were multiple questions about both his academic and football intelligence. I would've taken a shot on him but maybe that changes when my job is banking on guys like that. Being critical after the fact in a league where development isn't a given is stupid.
  11. Revisionist drafting is my favourite activity.
  12. How can you call yourself 'Webster Guy' and have such a disregard for a dictionary? For shame.
  13. He'll be in Mobile, one of the first QB's to accept. Jason Garrett and company will be coaching him.
  14. No better prep for the Senior Bowl. He'll also be on the roster coached by the Cowboys. I fully anticipate he'll end up in Dallas now. He'll blow them away.
  15. Have at it, you reprobates. My breakdown of De'Runnya Wilson. http://buffalofambase.org/2016/01/08/2016-nfl-draft-potential-bills-target-mississippi-state-wr-derunnya-wilson/
  16. I really hope we have this as a justifiable 'problem' in 12 months time.
  17. We've seen some mobile guys get figured out after a year or two. A year of film, a year of tendencies. Bill Belichick in the division also who, if he can figure Tyrod out, will lay the blueprint. Given scheduling, likely early in the season too. I'd be stupid to bet against Tyrod, his work ethic is ridiculous. Cautious optimism is probably where I'm at.
  18. It was an improvement. The biggest thing is just taking what they give you, particularly when the weather is as it was on Sunday. Another year in the system, as the unquestioned starter through TC, should be beneficial. As with anything, consistency is the key to longevity in the NFL. The arrow is definitely pointing up for him.
  19. I think the bigger issues are sustaining drives. That's on Tyrod as a short/intermediate passer and on situationally aware play calling. It's really nice to have the deep ball but, for the most part, the NFL is still a short/intermediate game. It might be boring but clock control is the object of the Roman attack. I'd rather have Tyrod than not. Good first year, must get better. Have to remember that development isn't a given in the NFL but he seems to have the drive to get better. I wouldn't bet against him.
  20. Absolutely loved his potential. One of the few 'project' players that I've ever been completely adamant about. Would've taken him in the 2nd and not flinched.
  21. The rumour I keep seeing is that teams have been sniffing around Koetter and they jettisoned Lovie to make him HC. Makes sense to keep the continuity with the QB that could be their escape from the doldrums of the NFL.
  22. The NFL is one of the weirder old boys networks in existence. It routinely fires these guys because they're not good but rarely expand their horizons beyond the already discarded pool of talent. It's like some kind of self-perpetuating misery machine.
  23. Just submitted a piece on Mississippi State WR De'Runnya Wilson. Should be up some time today. Hell of a man crush on this guy. He's the total package and something the Bills really lack.
  24. Roberto Aguayo has declared. https://twitter.com/FSU_Football/status/684752647820279809
