  1. Ka'imi Fairbairn is the man. A fight to the death over kickers could be arranged, CBF.
  2. Optimal fit is as a 4-3 Will. Impressive athlete with average instincts and not as good in coverage as the athletic ability would have you think. Don't like the Year 1 fit with the Bills, likely that his value to 4-3 teams is higher. With all the defensive talent in the class, it would be a shame to reach on him. Impact players can be had at 19.
  3. Would still love Noah Spence or Shaq Lawson in the 1st too. I'm seemingly alone on the Ragland at 19 island now but he still floats my boat. I'm like a fat kid in a candy store.
  4. Obviously, free agency will change things as the offseason goes along but I would be tempted to go DL in the 1st and 2nd if the talent falls that way. If I could get a DL combination like Rankins/Billings at 19 and Chris Jones or Austin Johnson (depending on the guy taken in the 1st) in the 2nd, that would be serviceable starters at 0/5-tech for 4 years pretty cheap. Takes advantage of the class depth and fills holes with talent. I know where you're coming from though. Guys like Tapper, Ward, Reader & Shittu could be 4th rounders (or later) with how deep the IDL class is. I've done dozens of Fanspeak mocks and gone several different ways without feeling like I've had a bad draft. This class has me torn.
  5. I don't think it's as simple as wrong/right. Some people take the 'it's only a sport' angle differently to others. For me, it's not important enough to sacrifice my principles for. For others, it's nothing but entertainment so they have a built-in disconnect to certain elements. I've often been accused of putting sportsmen on a pedestal when it comes to judging their off-field exploits but it's actually the polar opposite. I treat them exactly the same as anyone else. I try to take the stance that if I owned a business and my employee got arrested for something, would I terminate him/her for it. Only way I can do it. Plenty of guys have what South African cricketer Allan Donald described as 'white line fever'. In the spirit of competition, they can summon a bit of nasty to get the best out of themselves. Once the game finishes, they revert back to a calmer version of themself. Finding that balance is an art form for a sportsman. I don't like guys who don't possess it.
  6. I'm with you on Lynch. Nothing about him screams NFL starter to me. Fuller is going to get pressed in the NFL so I don't think his speed is going to get fully utilised unless he adds some functional strength to release consistently. Not seen enough of Killebrew. Floyd isn't a guy I chase around the board but if he was there in the 3rd, I'd take him for his athletic ability alone. Doubt he lasts that long but I agree that he's going to need time to play where the Bills have a hole. Kinda like how I see Darron Lee as a Bills fit - not ready to do it now (Floyd @ SLB/Lee @ ILB) but, at some point, there's value in the athlete alone. Could justify either going much earlier for more optimal fits.
  7. Imagine Roger's salary if they didn't pursue this.
  8. The NFL is looking really pathetic at this point. You tried, you failed miserably, just stop it.
  9. That would push me over the edge.
  10. I wonder if the Aussies will be as snarlingly condescending to him as NFL fans were to Jarryd Hayne. AFL is a different animal to most sports. It'll take great conditioning or he'll get found out quickly.
  11. I'm already sick of having that fat bastard on staff.
  12. I'm curious if any of you have players in mind that you would hate the Bills to draft. For any legit reasons at all (athletic testing, on-field play, off-field issues). I'd hate Robert Nkemdiche (severely overrated/off-field), Jayron Kearse (soft) and Kevin Hogan (javelin thrower).
  13. If Richie is gone, gimme Joe Thuney as a developmental replacement. Needs a year or so to get stronger but good athlete, strong puller, versatile and smart. Had the fastest 10-yard split in Indy for an OL @ 1.70 seconds.
  14. I'll let you have that one! That year off did him a world of good. As much as many argue the length of the suspension, Richie used the time off in the right way.
  15. I certainly didn't, that's for sure. I've said it multiple times recently that I'm just happy that Richie seems to be in a better place mentally than he probably has been since before his college days. He impressed on and off the field and the amount of interest in him is a credit to his rehabilitation. I think he still represents a risk factor for a big contract though. I wouldn't chase him with an open chequebook given his age. I'd like him back but not at any cost. It's not the end of the world if he leaves and I'd get it if he does. It would sting a little for the reasons previously discussed though.
  16. His salary last year was his value due to his circumstances. He was a big risk and it paid off for both parties. The team don't really owe him anything more than fair compensation. If he can get more elsewhere, good luck to him. I'd just like to see him show an awareness of the situation.
  17. I don't think it's too much to ask that he gives the Bills a fairer shot than the open market. This payday doesn't exist without the Bills. I guess I'm saying he should be grateful. Teams weren't banging his door down a year ago for reasons of his own creation.
  18. 4.54 for my boy KJ Dillon. 1.60 10-yd split. Great numbers for a 210lb safety. DeAndre Houston-Carson - 4.55, 1.56 10-yd split.
  19. Nick O'Leary of linebackers.
  20. Just wait until they load up that Temple game.
  21. Nkemdiche came in at 293lbs. Was not expecting that.
  22. This is really important for him. Needs to test well with the added weight. Still won't take him at 19 though.
  23. https://vine.co/v/evZIK1dzqiF
  24. He's Dadi Lhomme Nicolas. So he's essentially Dadi The Man Nicolas.
  25. Not watched him in depth yet, That system bugs me so I'll probably hate him.
