  1. The good news? We have 8 picks. The bad news? We might need to spend 3 on linebackers.
  2. Confirmed, confirmed. @Tony_theTiger7 Extremely grateful to the Bills organization for the opportunity they gave me. Looking forward to the next chapter.
  3. I can't speak for anyone but I've played my fair share on Madden. I think I know a thing or two about roster management and scheme fits!
  4. Bills moving on from Tony Steward? @Tony_theTiger7 Wow, life's curveballs are unreal! Haha on to the next.
  5. "Your 2016 Buffalo Bills - Sucking; but only on toes"
  6. I keep telling people that he should've gone with Fully Pregnant. It also helps explain his brother.
  7. Well, apart from the time he just jumped on his back and rode him like a mechanical bull.
  8. The TD in the 3rd quarter where he was completely open was on Green. Just switched off in coverage and OJ ran right by him. Too late for Kearse to cover across from his assignment (not that his lazy arse was ever busting a gut to try). The one in the 4th was a miscommunication. Looked like Green buzzed down towards the box and Tankersley (I think) should've carried the vertical route. Green plays with such tunnel vision. Gets his bell rung more than anyone I've ever watched, never sees a blindside block coming - https://twitter.com/LedyardNFLDraft/status/696441130301448196 I watched Kearse over the summer after he was getting Kam Chancellor V2 hype. I sat there in utter disbelief trying to work out what all the fuss was about. He's worse than Gerod Holliman from a tackling/effort standpoint and Holliman was a 7th rounder that could actually cover. The dictionary definition of 'Just A Guy'.
  9. Just watched the Bama/Clemson game again for Ryan Kelly. I can't put into words how vomit-inducing Green and Kearse were in that game.
  10. That pick would make a ton of sense for them. I've seen quite a bit of 1st round talk with Kelly so him being there at 49 might be a long shot. Spending a 1st on a future need is a bit fanciful but I think there's a chance that the team looks to acquire a potential starting C in this draft. Max Tuerk would be my more realistic idea, should be decent value coming off an ACL tear.
  11. I'm curious. How annoyed would the fanbase be if the Bills drafted Alabama center Ryan Kelly in the 2nd round? Eric Wood is getting older and he would save about $4.5m from the 2017 cap. Kelly could compete at RG as a rookie and the heir apparent at C in 2017. Kelly is strong at the POA. Tremendous run blocker, athletic enough to fit the Roman scheme, decent pass protector. He's tenacious in the trenches and would be a firm fan favourite very quickly because of his attitude on the field.
  12. I got taught at 11 that guys can't run without their legs. The amount of professional football players that can't tackle is mindboggling. Get Antoine Winfield in as a tackling consultant.
  13. Him flying uncontrollably into contact every chance he gets scares me. He's one of the guys in this class I don't see getting a 2nd contract. Legitimate fear that he's going to hurt himself badly.
  14. I just love playing up to the 'You Brits and your kicking sports' stereotypes. If anyone is curious about proper technique, take a look at this from Chuck Zodda of Inside The Pylon (http://insidethepylon.com/football-101/football-basics/2015/03/02/basic-placekicking-technique-how-to-kick-field-goals/). Chuck is a former kicker at Dartmouth and is ITP's resident special teams expert.
  15. Absolutely love this dude. Swing OL candidate early on, get bigger/stronger, replace Incognito in Year 3. @PFF_College NC State T/G Joe Thuney allowed only 14 total pressures on 843 pass block attempts the last two years
  16. This has shades of Chris Kelsay & Spencer Johnson about it. Wynn was a pretty marginal athlete 7 years ago (from his Combine numbers). Older now and suffered wear and tear. Can't envision him being a success at OLB.
  17. Zach gives the team the opportunity to not chase an athletic type around the board. As a worst case scenario, he'll do for a year. Solid starter but his book is pretty much written at this point. If someone falls into our lap that's an upgrade, beautiful. Zach can be a good backup and has the athletic profile for ST. If not, take a shot later on a guy to groom behind him. Got to admit, I actually love the signing. As a converted Bills pessimist, it's difficult to accept.
  18. At least he was close to home. Rex not saying why might suggest something personal. Not even that windbag would divulge personal info readily.
  19. Normally, it's a family thing that comes up at short notice. If it was anything more sinister than that, we'd already be hearing murmurs of discontent. Rex loves a good scapegoat.
  20. Rumour has it that he's moonlighting as Whoopi Goldberg's body double in her new film.
  21. Spent more time than I'd care to admit watching UCLA K Ka'imi Fairbairn. You can do likewise thanks to @alex_sibo if you're so inclined - http://draftbreakdown.com/video/kaimi-fairbairn-vs-all-teams-2015/ Really impressive kicker. When he's in a rhythm, he's incredibly metronomical. Confirmed my belief that he's the best kicker in the draft. Occasionally gets his plant foot too close to the ball which acts like a hooked golf shot for a right hander, naturally draws it left. Think of Blair Walsh in the playoffs in January. His 60 yarder vs Cal is a special strike, would've been good from 65. Special mention to his holder, Jerry Neuheisel. Kid bailed them out from a few dodgy snaps last year.
  22. Jeremiah is starting to recognise the greatness. Lowry is one of those guys that'll just turn up on a Sunday and do work. Short arms are the only downfall (31" arms @ 6'6", 296lbs). @MoveTheSticks Northwestern DE Dean Lowry is really intriguing. Great size, power and versatility.
  23. I've maintained for many months that I couldn't take him before the 3rd. The potential is obvious but he's done nothing during the process to minimise his own risk. If he lasts until our pick in the 3rd, I'd be tempted to snatch him up. Even as a designated pass rusher, he'd have some value. Let him spend a year watching how a pro like Kyle Williams handles business and hope that something clicks with him.
  24. He certainly has had a few opportunities to hold his hands up publically (many more privately) and admit that he screwed up. It's entirely his decision whether he does that or not. There's consequences if he doesn't and he's old enough to know that. The decision to throw Laremy Tunsil (a man who just hours prior had called him a good guy that 'suffered a few hiccups') under a bus was pretty much when I lost patience with him. You want to own your own ****, that's fine. If you don't, that's fine. Just don't go burning one of the few bridges your destructive ways hasn't incinerated yet. I would honestly love to sit down with Robert and talk with him. Not about football but about life. About his brother, his family. I don't think he's an inherently bad guy, I just think he's way behind in the maturation process.
