  1. It can only go downhill from here.
  2. Dalvin Cook is what happens when you take CJ Spiller, put him in a durable frame and make him good at football. He 'might' be a bit of a scumbag but he's a superb talent.
  3. And I thought I disliked Florida State.
  4. Coaches rarely seem to change (we saw what happened when Rex compromised his scheme). Then again, I never saw him making a guy like Shady his lead back. I really want to dig into the RB class soon. Gotta see if someone can knock Dalvin off the #1 spot.
  5. The Ryan hire (and the success of it) will shape their perception. As a public face, it's nice to see female representation at the highest level. She seems to be a very intelligent and likeable sort of person. For anyone confused, Rex was a Pegula hire. Whaley was on board with Hue Jackson, keeping Schwartz as DC.
  6. Ahh, the white Reggie Bush. Not watched him in-depth yet so I'll hold back an opinion. In this RB class, there's going to be something for everyone. Can't see them going for McCaffery considering how little GR uses running backs in the passing game.
  7. FYI, it's absolutely a troll attempt. Apparently the guy has history with Minnesota-related troll jobs. Edit: The Wentz one had me ROLLING - https://twitter.com/ArifHasanNFL/status/758804856060547075
  8. Just hear me out. Foles starts. Teddy gets pissed off. We trade for Teddy with the 5th we got for Cassel after initially trading with the Vikings. We tag/trade Tyrod for a 1st and have a decent QB for peanuts for 2 more years.
  9. SCREAMING INTERNALLY!!! @1500ESPN_Reusse Hearing that Nick Foles has been told he will get a chance to compete for starting QB job if he signs with Vikings. Edit: 99.9% certainty this is 'making **** up for follows on Twitter' fodder. Just too good not to share.
  10. Not an exact likeness, I'll grant you. Just that the salary of the player is much easier to justify in the situation they ended up in. The Bills paying Hogan that money was impossible with the choices they had to make at the time.
  11. I'll even go out on a limb and say that they should be rolling with Geno. Fitz offers literally zero potential and Geno started to look okay late in 2014. IK might have ruined his career. Oh, don't get me started on that Johnny Depp knock-off
  12. I'd probably cut Petty but I really truly irrationally hate that goofy looking MFer.
  13. The anti-Hoganites are strong in will. One of them wanted to bet me he wouldn't make the 53 a couple years ago. He's the Pats' Charles Clay. Overpaid for him but it's a perfect fit.
  14. Hey, if you give me Ryan/Taylor or Belichick/Brady I know what I'm picking. Like 7/11 a lot, good role player heading into what should be a perfect fit.
  15. Bruce Feldman's top 20 college freaks - http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/gallery/top-20-freaks-in-college-football-for-2016-bruce-feldman-myles-garrett-leonard-fournette-072716 And the top 10 snubs - http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/gallery/top-10-biggest-snubs-from-our-2016-freaks-list-072816 Jake Butt's comments about Jehu Chesson made me howl. If he's a 4.3 guy, play like it. Everyone is a 4.3 WR in the spring.
  16. Went with Reggie and Blanton. Impact requires opportunity. I think both will get plenty. Still gotta hold out some hope my boy Jonathan Dowling can snag a 5th safety spot if it's up for grabs.
  17. Kinda galling with the cap room we've got that he came so cheap. Only hope that space translates into a long term Gilmore/Taylor deal in the near future.
  18. I didn't think 'Martysaurus' and his personality would interest Belichick but he's the key for them this year. Second reliable target with a big catch radius. Excellent blocker for when they have to run (which I think will be a little more than usual this year). The Pats are the team to beat until they prove otherwise. I hope the first NE game doesn't get the whole Rex 'This is my superbowl' treatment like last time or we're so royally screwed.
  19. The spin move is very Braxton. The NFL is moving towards backs that have some WR-like skill sets. Guys like Shane Vereen, Duke Johnson, Theo Riddick don't even have to run the ball to make their respective 53-man rosters. Samuel will get some looks but he's gotta be careful not to follow Jalin Marshall getting too big-headed and declaring too early.
  20. I'd still fancy Bryant playing that 5-Tech role early. Adolphus didn't learn to use his hands overnight. I would prefer him to rotate between 3/5 as a rookie and take over at 3 when Kyle is done. Think it's his best fit unless his technique adapts well.
  21. So, Marcell at 0, Kyle at 3/5, Adolph at 5? For the sake of technique designation.
  22. He's not been on my radar much, tend to focus on draft-eligible guys. What I do know is that a guy as dynamic as him getting more snaps will be a good thing. His balance is outrageous and his spin move is already a thing of beauty. Definitely a wait-and-see approach from a draft perspective but there's enough to like already. His future has to be at RB at 200 pounds.
  23. Shaking my fist at where you've got Elijah McGuire. He's my guy, called him in his freshman year. Guys like Matt Dayes & Taquan Mizzell might go undrafted. This RB class is nuts. I hope the Bills snatch a couple UDFA guys to bolster the ranks.
  24. Well, the Gunner Kiel hype train may have been derailed for good. Named 3rd on the Bearcats depth chart. This is amid rumours that Kiel missed their bowl game to attend rehab for an addiction to painkillers.
  25. In the SB one game wonders; Seahawks WR Chris Matthews. 4/109/1 in the SB, only had 13/151/1 last season.
