  1. Don't think so. Can't say I've seen him around, at least.
  2. I know someone is flying over from Dublin for the Jets game. About 3,400 miles or so.
  3. Came off the NFI list on August 9th 2014. I remember Chandler Jones working him but that was about Week 6.
  4. And, with the RG/RT situation not being great, can't exactly give him much help either.
  5. That's a big dude carrying a sometimes lingering injury. It's not as bad as it could be but he might be severely rusty in Week 1.
  6. At this point, you have to question the conditioning staff. Might be coincidence but it's not worth the risk. Gives the likes of Cyrus more meaningful reps.
  7. If Cyrus Kouandjio performs well at LT, Cordy Glenn should come back at right guard. My column:
  8. My bad. According to Twitter, he's the second coming of Randy Moss.
  9. The Browns could be one hell of a good watch this year. RG3 at QB, Josh Gordon back, Corey Coleman being the Human Touchdown at Baylor. Duke Johnson, Gary Barnidge. Or, you know, it could end terribly. Like every other Browns season I can remember.
  10. How about RT? We have 3 available bodies that are pretty much capable of the same level of play. That's depth in its own beautiful way.
  11. I grew up with rugby. First lesson is tackling. You're talked through technique, then you do the practical. Aged 12, I got my head on the wrong side and someone fell on top of me. Hurt like hell, served as a lesson to avoid doing it wrong again. That was kind of my point, like teaching a kid fire is hot by burning them.
  12. The man who let Kevin Kolb slip on a practice mat? ARE YOU MAD?!!!!
  13. I get it from the NFL's standpoint though. The league had a PR disaster on its hands over concussions. It's fear, even if it's just fear of getting sued again. They have to be seen as addressing the issue, even if their solution might make things worse.
  14. The game has to adapt if they're trying to make the game safer. Cannot stress enough that every team should follow the Seahawks and adopt the rugby tackle technique. Take the helmets off for a practice, do that wrong, have some heavy dude fall on your head. You'll never get it wrong again. Can't go soft with practices and then expect them to beat the holy **** out of each other for 60 minutes up to 23 times a year.
  15. As much as they need offseason rest, the body needs to get used to contact again. Doug was spot on. It's not designed for humans. They need to get hit like WWE wrestlers need to learn how to hit the canvas safely.
  16. Trade them to the Cowboys for a 5th. I hear they love useless Matts.
  17. Oh well. Season over. Who's ready for the draft?!!!!
  18. I'll be watching it at home, at like 1:30am, probably sober. Not planning on doing anything on the Friday but I'll need stuff to do on Thursday, those long days drag like a bastard.
  19. And someone forgot to ask for the permission of the participants - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-36989897
  20. As promised, a look at half a dozen of the top WR prospects for the 2017 class. This WR class has the potential to be fantastic if the majority of underclassmen declare. http://www.cover1.net/2016/08/2017-nfl-draft-wr-preview/
  21. The discus starts on the 12th. Oh, discuss......... I'm mainly keeping an eye on the boxing, track cycling, rowing, swimming. Basically the events where we might win something. I do love the Olympics though. Every 4 years for a couple of weeks, I become the world's foremost expert on **** like fencing and judo.
