  1. This piece is worth the read. Written by his former teammate, Ryan Riddle - http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1480333-lorenzo-alexander-the-most-interesting-man-in-the-nfl
  2. Re-watched the offense. Little bit of good, lot of bad. Shocking effort levels from some. JWill gets dumped on his back, Seantrel is the only one that reacts. This penalty thing has dropped their intensity, don't want to catch wrath for sorting people out.
  3. I've come to the conclusion that I dislike pretty much every broadcaster on every sport in every country. So few that add anything to a game. Oh well, Spero Dedes and Solomon Wilcots in Week 1, yay!
  4. Are we doing this? Time is a-ticking.
  5. Yeah, I'll be up. Might be doing some in-game coverage for Bills Wire so I'll tough it out. First time this preseason I can actually sleep in the morning after. It'll be bliss. I'm not trying to be some Henderson truther or anything. All our RT options suck in equal measure.
  6. I would put a TBD member at RT over this - https://vine.co/v/5M9u0IgMAD5
  7. PFF have (or at least did have) a tiered grading system, don't they? 0 for a neutral play, up to -2 for a brutal play. Cyrus has had a few brutal ones, especially against Olivier Vernon. Velasco's technique has been worse but PFF don't grade technique, more end result. If they graded technique, Jordan Mills would be minus infinity.
  8. The only surprise here would be Rob using cultery. He strikes me more as a trough man.
  9. My corner piece for Cover1 will be out Tuesday.
  10. Not sure NRC would miss out entirely on a roster spot but he's being pushed hard by Seymour. If he loses his starting job, he's nickel-only. Could spell doom down the line for him. Would save $1.6m on the 2017 cap if he's gone afer this season.
  11. Low risk for the Pats. They regularly blow draft picks anyway. This might just be speeding up the process.
  12. If I ever get another dog, I'm calling him Barkevious.
  13. Only one of those I liked in the 1st round was Shelton and I might've been way too high on him. I did like Mingo but not 6th overall. He was an early Day 3 project with athletic ability. Massive reach.
  14. Some willfully ignored Striker's game because of that post-draft speech he gave.
  15. Not a guy I'm going to write up but CB Marquez White of FSU is a guy to keep an eye on this year. One year starter, former basketball player, got that prototype press-man frame. Too grabby at this point but experience should help that. Supposedly a sub 4.5 guy in HS.
  16. Same reason someone drafted him 3rd overall this year. He good.
  17. Keep Felton, cut Gronk - $2,300,000 salary plus $15,000 dead money for Gronk ($2,315,000) Cut Felton, keep Gronk - $1,950,000 dead money for Felton, $455,000 salary for Gronk ($2,405,000) Big thing surrounding Felton is 2017. $500k roster bonus due on 3rd league day. That's when he's gone if he doesn't perform.
  18. If his concussion issues are as severe as they sound, walking away might be the smartest move. All well and good providing for your family but at what cost?
  19. @AdamSchefter 12s12 seconds ago Redskins traded a conditional 7th-round pick to Patriots for C Bryan Stork
  20. Deadline to trade Bosa has passed. Also, no.
  21. @NyTallPeople @ProFootballTalk Why don't you "@" @RapSheet? You're a coward, Florio @ProFootballTalk Hey @RapSheet, I'm a coward. Have I told people how much I love Twitter?
  22. @RapSheet 16s16 seconds ago Wow. #Patriots didn’t cut C Bryan Stork after all… they traded him to the #Redskins, source said. That was unexpected.
  23. I watched the Chargers press conference after the draft. McCoy and Telesco were delighted to have him. So effusive with their praise for his game that it nearly made me gag. How it got from that to this, I'll never know.
  24. As far as I understand it, the team were the ones that drove the wedge first and now they're both being stubborn for the sake of not conceding ground. Obviously, neither side is telling the absolute truth so statements should be taken with a pinch of salt. No issue with a player standing up for their rights in most circumstances. Under the new CBA, I'm fairly sure I could get these deals done.
