  1. The $1.67m salary was an RFA tender, which has zero guarantees. The signing bonus actually gave him $200k more guaranteed money than he had.
  2. After doing it for the offense, I also picked a defensive player from the Ravens roster for the Bills. This should be a better discussion than on offense (it's not the guy in the actual link either). http://billswire.usatoday.com/2016/09/09/buffalo-bills-baltimore-ravens-cj-mosley/
  3. I mean, he played guard well enough to go undrafted so maybe not so well
  4. Through the NFLPA Top 51 - Bills are at $12,935,861
  5. I'm a process guy. I value technique. As starting RTs in the league go, Mills has some of the worst.
  6. I said everyone would know who he is. They do now
  7. We should all thank our chosen deity for this news. Just watching some of Elvis from last year, he would've destroyed Jordan Mills. Protect your inside? He'll blast outside and bend around you. Overset to protect the edge? Inside swim or a spin. Dude is better than I remembered. I think Dumervil is Noah Spence's ceiling, love them both.
  8. For the record, Albright was at 239 for his Pro Day. Now that he's focusing solely on football, in an NFL weight room, with NFL nutrition, he should be able to sustain that kind of weight eventually. In an interview with John Murphy, he reckoned that he was heavier than the original listed weight. If he can hold at 240, he'll be fine.
  9. In the spirit of game week, I wrote a piece for @TheBillsWire on which offensive Ravens player I'd take for the Bills. Anyone disagree with my pick? http://billswire.usatoday.com/2016/09/08/buffalo-bills-baltimore-ravens-marshall-yanda/
  10. It's a really nice problem to have, I guess.
  11. His legacy will be all over his face (or more his forehead) for eternity.
  12. By the end of tonight, people will know the name Devontae Booker. I'm working on the proviso that Siemian literally can't be worse than end of season Peyton was.
  13. I'll back Denver. I think Wade can get in Cam's head again.
  14. A look back at some draft prospects in Week 1 by my pal, Rob Donaldson (@DraftCharge) http://draftcharge.com/2017-nfl-draft-scouting-review-week-1
  15. How about this for a long shot? Packers vs Chargers. Packers win but Rivers has an MVP-type season.
  16. 27-16 Bills I'm being optimistic!
  17. I'm not sure Rob will let me write about kickoffs every week but I'll keep an eye on this stuff as the season unfolds.
  18. Upon further inspection, Tucker hates kicking short. He's got such a booming leg that he's been struggling with hangtime. Plus their coverage unit has missed tackles and left creases open all preseason. I can't see them kicking short in the game. Harbaugh will see what I see, he's no fool with ST.
  19. After you find out what Yolo did to earn the pizza, you'll re-think that.
  20. I'll be happy with a touchback if it happens from Tucker. They have been experimenting in preseason with shorter kickoffs, going to take a look at them in the morning. Week 1, Dan's leg should be fresh(ish) so the EZ should be easy to reach, not accounting for atmospherics. My concern is the wear and tear as the year goes on.
  21. Justin Tucker allowed 9 returns all year. Maybe the new rule changes that but probably not. You guys know I'm a kickoff nerd. Justin Tucker is in a tie with Pat McAfee for prettiest girl in class.
  22. If you can make it through this bore fest, you'll deserve one Will be a big factor for field position. I'm a little worried now that I'm looking in-depth.
  23. I'm currently fleshing out a piece for Bills Wire on the special teams matchup for Week 1. I know, you're all yawning already. I promise it'll be good.
