  1. In a way, I'm pleased. It shows that there's a level of accountability from someone, somewhere. It's just that if Roman's failures are the benchmark for sacking, Aaron Kromer might be the last man standing. It makes the team look desperate.
  2. I expect it to meet a lot of resistence, no illusions about that. I've seen it work in other sports, I'd love to test the theory out in the NFL.
  3. It wasn't an age comment, more of a personality thing. Just using those two as examples because I'm familiar enough with them to talk about them. I would like a degree of NFL experience in my HC though. I know it'll draw a lot of the "retread" comments but I'm probably not looking at this like that.
  4. One of the guys I'm paying attention to when I re-watch the defense. From what I saw live, both of the Brown brothers played well.
  5. 54.5% completion rate and stumbling into a TD on what should've been a pick heaved into coverage under pressure? Also threw three passes into the trenches that were batted in the first three drives.
  6. I'm surprised you didn't hear me crying about it.
  7. 52.2% of his yards on 6.67% of his plays. Sustainable offense, it is not.
  8. EJ is the closest thing we've got to a power back. Not sure how much Roman is responsible for the personnel at his disposal.
  9. For guys like us on a message board, it's near impossible to "know" if someone will be good. We lack the true knowledge to assess candidates. I have some different ideas for the way I'd structure my coaching staff but NFL rules make it extremely difficult to make the theory happen. In theory, I'd hire a veteran coach to be HC. Guys like a Tom Coughlin or a Marty Schottenheimer (big believer in having a Marv Levy type). Experienced guys that can be a figurehead type, brought in to be a general overseer of the team. Level headed when dealing with the media, can provide a solid grounding for the team in terms of man management. Then hire co-ordinators that would have free reign and wouldn't be micro-managed by the HC. With the restrictions on lateral moves, it's not easy to get the guys that I'd want. Normally, a bright OC/DC has to become a HC for them to get a shot at his services.
  10. The reason we didn't win is because he only threw for 297 yards. Everyone knows that you must hit 300 in order to win.
  11. Eric Wood was up and down but holy **** this was awesome. https://vine.co/v/51FgWKIh7Xb
  12. Still not quite there in terms of consistency but less problems than last year. Bearing in mind the matchups, he's been very solid. You can tell that his ankle has healed, he's anchoring like he did at Louisville. Huge part of his game.
  13. But PFF have had Mills as the top Bills OL two games in a row. Legit have no idea what they're watching. He's not been terribad but still below-average.
  14. Leonard Williams. That screeching banshee? Nah. Green Day helps me feel like a rebel watching this ****.

  16. Cyrus is still ragged with his technique but I'll give the guy credit. He's not afraid to turn every snap into a street fight. Against a big test, he played as well as you'd expect any backup on a short week.
  17. When we're talking about a new coach, am I the only one that thinks the defensive personnel still suits a 4-3 more than a 3-4?
  18. The talent has to be there to do so.
  19. One bad game does not a career make.
  20. That feeling when you beat 26CB to a newsworthy picture.
  21. @4TomMartin Injured #Bills rookies can still have fun. @reggieragland @Shaq_Lawson90
  22. Thought I'd put this here. Nice piece that I can somewhat relate to. http://buffalowins.net/buffalo-bills/appreciating-bruce-smith-when-you-didnt-watch-him-play-by-lukewachob.html?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=appreciating-bruce-smith-when-you-didnt-watch-him-play-by-lukewachob
  23. Watching some Notre Dame for Mike McGlinchey. He's kinda good. A name to possibly stash for 2018 - Nevada DE Patrick Choudja. He's unrefined and reckless with his technique but his burst is very nice. First year starter, gave McGlinchey a few issues.
