  1. Adam Schefter isn't one for hot takes, it might not:
  2. Exactly. The problem must be worse than they thought. Thank god we have competent management who'll ensure that it's safe before they set foot in Nashville.
  3. It's because ESPN's contract likely includes a clause that games can't be televised nationally (outside of Sunday Ticket plus local market affiliates) on a Monday. Similar to our snow game in 2014.
  4. Likely won't be televised nationally if on Monday:
  5. I hope I don't get banned for using PFF data, but good for Daryl Williams on being their RT of the week and Levi Wallace for being CB2.
  6. Why not Monday at 5 pm before MNF? People are working from home so there will be an audience.
  7. Allen's arrival paired with the Denver having its worst 3-year stretch probably helped move casual Wyoming Broncos fans into the Bills column.
  8. I knew as soon as I saw the SNF clip of the game that didn't include the fake interception that 80% of the commentators wouldn't know it existed. It's no conspiracy though, it's because Josh made so many highlight reel type plays that there wasn't room to show it.
  9. Please no. I'm not superstitious, but the Fitz QB1 curse is real!
  10. Same boat, they almost blew it for me, but CEH staying out of the end zone saved my bacon. Will credit Andrew for the 1 point I got from his tackle (Our league plays 2 IDPs).
  11. Alternate title: The End of the Hollywood Brown & Mark Andrews Era. Jackson's performance wasn't good, but amazed that these two are getting off so easy.
  12. It was an incorrect, but not unreasonable take at the time to think Allen would be a bust. Yes he had the tools, but how many quarterbacks that raw have been developed the way he has by his teams? How were people to know how committed he would be in the future to working diligently each off-season to get better? The problem is with some not admitting their mistake (as I did, but no one would ever confuse me for a draft expert, nor would I claim to be), explain how he defied their expectations and moving on. To pretend they're still right and this is some kind of mirage, or that his success is solely due to this weapons, only serves to deteriorate their credibility in the future.
  13. Daboll will likely depart, but the Bills will have their pick of great candidates to replace him. All of these offence weapons combined with a HC from the defensive side will have coaches' agents seeing long-term dollar signs.
  14. You are 100% right that it shouldn't, but we know that it will. The narrative has been set, and he's the front runner.
  15. Nah, I'd rather the Jets not have super high draft picks on the off chance they pull off a successful rebuild. I can get my comedy from the Atlanta Falcons.
  16. I wouldn't put it past Elway to suit up himself to KO Gase once and for all. He's probably still peeved at the Dolphins onside kick up 24 points a few years ago, allegedly because Elway badmouthed him to the 49ers when Gase interviewed for the HC position.
  17. How's this for a weird stat: the last 2 #1 picks - Joe Burrow yesterday and Kyler Murray in week 1 of last year - both recorded a tie before their first win.
  18. Let's show him some love back with some clicks: https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-week-2-what-i-loved-liked-and-loathed-about-sunday
  19. Covering big guys isn't Levi's forte. Fitz picked on him last year as well to some success.
  20. Houston might the be bizarro Bills, people giving them the benefit of the doubt from having started with KC & Baltimore. Without Hopkins they are in trouble, though probably not Vikings post-Diggs level of trouble. I'd be shocked if Pittsburgh doesn't blow them out next week unless Ben has his annual WTF game.
  21. Yeah hopefully they pad it for at least an hour so my American friends don't miss the beginning of the game. I'm sure fan of everything else on TV would laugh at us though on complaining about a sporting event running late and delaying the start of the game.
  22. I wonder Hauschka's workout with the Titans a few weeks ago didn't go so well, or if this is a case of Vrabel giving his old teammate another chance. I was certain that SH would have been signed by the Titans on Tuesday.
  23. As lots of people mentioned, CBS and FOX can cross flex games. The reason it was done this week is probably because FOX has the NYJ-SF game, and the 49ers were the only team of the 4 expected to be good, & FOX wanted to keep that one over the Giants. What I found most interesting is if you click on the map link it says that Utica switched from NYG-Chi to the Bills game. Pardon my ignorance, but I thought the Giants were popular in NYS east of Syracuse.
