FOX/CBS can't protect games in week 18 because they aren't assigned beforehand.

I don't see the comparison at all - changing your travel to plans to spend more days in LA a week before Christmas is way more expensive than signing up for Amazon or Peacock. Any other TNF partner would have made the same request. Good on John.

Ernest Jones was just traded to Seattle. If he plays that's 2 weeks in a row he'll face the Bills. That couldn't have happened too often in season.

They know Josh won't play along in hyping it up. Most years it would be a PT game though, but too many options this year to fit them all in. The Jags game looks the least appealing but they don't have many rivals and all the recent games have been close.

Pretty much as to be as all the prime time games have been announced as well as the 430 game (no CBS 430 game week 1 this year). Can't see them travelling to Seattle or LA for a 4pm game if they travel again for TNF week 2.

When Peacock aired Bills/Chargers someone mentioned (from Rochester I believe?) that they were able to watch the Amazon games on the Barrie station with a digital antenna. It's looking like this game with be on CFTO Toronto (CTV) which is closer and probably has a stronger signal.

That would make sense and Daboll doesn't seem to jive with tightly wound DCs. Maybe Jerod Mayo would be interested if he doesn't get the HC job in NE?
