I'm not really sure what you're saying. Do you think all yards should be counted as equal garbage time or not? The difference between the 4 quarter yards vs the Pats* and Cinci is that the Bills did not allow the Pats* to execute their prevent plan during most of the 4th quarter and the Bills did allow Cinci to execute their prevent plan.

Just to be clear I do not think EJ stinks out loud. In the Pats* game we were within 5 points with time left and within 8 points with the ball that in no way resembles what Cinci did to us. Clearly both Cinci and the Pats* were in prevent mode in the fourth, the big difference is when Taylor was in we weren't getting 5 to 10 up the middle and eating up clock, we were flying down the field getting points quick the Pats* did not execute what they were trying to do, we did.

I agree. Ball placement on easy throws was appalling. I was really impressed with EJ in the pre-season, and was really shocked with the media's depiction of him, but a couple more games like this . . .

Don't fool yourself, you don't get to be the best at something without being cocky. Pay attention, its in every interview, every statement, in just about every sport. Look at interviews from competitors that avoid public scrutiny, like chess players, they all sound just like Watkins only less politic. I'm not saying football players don't put things like winning and the team first, but if you don't think they all have a maniacal opinion of their own abilities you're crazy.

Sure. I don't think anyone is really upset about our record. I think its more about the fact that yet again the Bills have made fans billieve in the offseason, despite our better (historical) judgement. So we were riding high on our expectations and are being given plenty of reasons to doubt, which is obviously too much to take. I think there's more than a few Koolaid hang overs.

I think the point is we were offsides. I think it doesn't get called much because it doesn't happen much.

I think that its dangerous to confuse poor play calling and poor coaching. They are definitely not the same, and I don't think play calling is the most important part of a coaches job. I think I've heard Rex confirm that play calling is not his strong suite. I do think we have very good coaches, lots of good coaches, in this respect I feel very confident that we are above average. I think it's foolish to be too critical of the play calling when you don't know what the game plan is. You have to give your preparation a chance. If you're not executing well how much does it matter if you're running or passing? If for instance we're consistently loosing certain match ups it could be very dangerous to pass before we've made those adjustments. Sometimes you can take certain liberties when you have a great D, we have proven we can be a 4th quarter team.

Thought our D had an alright game. That said there were definitely a lot of missed opportunities on both sides of the ball. I don't think we know what our offense or defense is 4 games in.

The Pats* will turn out to be the head scratching loss as we march to an 18-1 record.
