  1. What with the recent article, I was curious what everyone thought.
  2. I don't think anyone has been interested in any of our drafted QBs, few as they may be, since Kelly. Although I do agree, we should be drafting our back up and hoping for a better outcome.
  3. Seriously though, I could see a team giving up a 7th, if his cap hit wasn't so high. If you take 5 to 7 plays off his film he doesn't look that bad.
  4. I don't think you can count on a starting o-lineman anywhere, in any draft that I can remember. Tackles especially are a coveted position and seem to me at least to have a very high miss rate.
  5. I seem to recall Kelly throwing the ball away a lot. Not sure if they keep track of stats like that anywhere.
  6. Yea, might be a good idea. Although, He does make a great scapegoat. When fans don't like how discipline is handled, and they never will, someone will be blamed.
  7. The talent available at qb is the same as for everything. I think you're mad at the bell curve distribution.
  8. Why shouldn't we wildly speculate?
  9. Yea, I spend all my time worrying and hoping, it's a toxic combination.
  10. Yeah, it didn't really sound like he was bashing Rex, just pointing out in year 1 that the personnel wasn't a perfect match for the scheme. I guess you could take this as some sort of confirmation, but I don't see anything in this that all parties wouldn't more or less agree with.
  11. Seems like we are losing a bunch of players without it counting this year.
  12. I would be convinced all these free picks were a dream if I didn't see how many picks the pats* got. With all the great players we brought in during free agency the whole comp system seem oftly arbitrary.
  13. My opinion is that you don't need scientific evidence to be reasonably certain that blows to the head can cause harm. So where the science is at, now or then, doesn't really matter.
  14. I don't know the particulars about the case, neither does anyone else on this board. The idea that you couldn't know about head trauma resulting from being hit in the head bc the science wasn't in yet has nothing to do with the particulars of this case.
  15. No. I'm saying that it's ridiculous to say that an entity has no knowledge of potential head trauma in football. The particulars of that knowledge and what actions, disclosures etc were undertaken as a result are details I'm not privy to.
  16. I'm not saying I disagree. I just don't find arguments like "we didn't know hitting you in the head over and over would do any harm" credible. I think that the parents knowledge of potential harm is a much better argument. I think I just did.
  17. I think the case could be made that letting pre-teens get hit in the head over and over again is negligent. We've known that getting hit in the head is bad for a very very long time.
  18. Lol, totally agree Seems like a better plan than mills.
  19. I smell some comp picks coming out way for once . . .
  20. It would be nice to have him in training camp to see . . .
