  1. Hate: Reaching for some QB or WR at 19, honestly even if we move down this will bother me a lot, something like Conner Cook or some other QB projected lower at 32 would make my stomach churn. . Love: Moving down and out of the first and drafting a dearth of defensive players in the second and third, maybe a WR but mostly just BPA. Expect: one of the numerous DL or LB at 19.
  2. because of all the depth
  3. Bosses and companies try to simplify things for their staff and employees all the time. Isn't that what management is all about, keeping things simple and efficient?
  4. writers who think what they have to say is important are less likely to make errors, and more likely to read what they've wrote.
  5. how legit can it be, he can't even spell move?
  6. I'd be shocked if he doesn't start some games.
  7. I don't think he was saying that they don't count towards our offense, but that to say we have the number 1 rushing attack is a little misleading b/c some of those yards are more a function of our passing attack.
  8. wow . . . " Chris Hogan is now a Patriot for the next three years at the bargain price of $12 million." Interesting that the two biggest names (and not for being gms) are coming in at 1 and 2. After seeing Jerry Jones in the top half I stopped reading.
  9. Notice 3 of their top 4 are pats games. If one of them wasn't a SB rematch it'd probably be 3/3
  10. When you draft a player in the 5th and he contributes in his rookie year that's a win. Same holds true when you draft in the 3rd and get a starter. I'm not suggesting we know what either of those players are going to become. Are you suggesting those were failed picks? What exactly would constitute a successful pick in those later rounds after their first year?
  11. Whoa! John Miller and Karlos Williams last year. Preston Brown and Seantrel Henderson the year before. I'd say that's pretty good once Nix left the building. 40% hit rate on 3rd and later picks seems like its knocking it out of the park to me.
  12. Incognito Henderson Karlos Darby All had possible off field issues I thought. Manuel Shady (new contract) Watkins (with trade) All seem to be high risk and reward, or at least some risk and some major damage if it doesn't work out.
  13. Seems like the Bills are one of the better situations for an unproven QB to step into. I don't see him leaving next year unless the Bills refuse to offer a competitive contract.
  14. they don't work like that, do they?
  15. If they did this I would have to consider taking the season off. I wouldn't even think I would take 2 firsts.
  16. My guess is holding out after 1 good season would have a negative impact on his negotiating position going forward (with any team). Unless we're talking about something really ridiculous (not sure what you mean by serious) Taylor will get paid injury or not and will attract way more interest if he plays as well as last year than he would holding out and most likely not playing at all in 2016. The Bills really can't pay him, any hold out on his part needs to be done with the expectation that he probably won't play or won't be getting his ideal contract. I don't know what negotiations were like between his agent and the Bills but my guess is the Bills tried to make him a reasonable offer and it wasn't attractive enough. What exactly would be Taylor's ideal outcome if he held out?
  17. I'm not saying their stats aren't similar. But I don't find their attempts, completion percentage, or ypa all that similar.
  18. I picked no, but I do think he'll manage an NFL career, just not the one he was drafted and expected to have at first.
