I think fans living outside of western ny will become increasingly important, especially if population trends continue. so i'll go with B only i think they will become more important, not less.
Seems like the bills are pretty much agreeing with you here with maybe the exception of rb/fb. It's hard to deny that we've gotten good value out of our running backs. When we signed Felton he was touted as the best in the biz at what he did, so it was probably a miss but we've had much worse cap mistakes.
I just don't see how that matters. You try to win football games. If we went 0-8 would we then sit him for the rest of the season? I mean here we are with the same QB after having treated him poorly, it just doesn't feel like a recipe for success.
I don't understand how winning can matter sometimes but not others. There are degrees of failure. Finishing 0-16 is a lot different than 1-15, as is 7-9 vs 8-8. How do you lead a team and tell them winning doesn't matter. I just don't get it. If we had played and won that last game I think our future prospects going into this year would have improved not diminished.
I'm still not happy about it. I wouldn't exactly say that I was mad. I believe winning football games helps you win in the future and I don't think screwing with your starting QBs head helps you win either. Maybe some of the damaged caused by that is mitigated by a new coaching regime? It just seems like kind of a douche move. I don't like the idea of anyone other than the coach deciding who is going to play, I'm not sure what decisions like this do to a locker room but I doubt there's any upside to them in that regard.
In order intensity.
Hate:
Dolphins, Cowboys, Pats, Giants, Jets, Redskins, Panthers, Oilers?!/Titans, Rams, Jacksonville.
Like:
Green bay, Lions, Browns, Oakland
Yea, really don't like the texans either.
It hasn't seemed like Whaley was hiring the coaches. Either way how can we really know?
If he was the driving force behind all the hires it certainly is hard to see how he would still have a job. Not sure that we can conclude he wasn't the driving force behind the HC hires, but that would be my guess.
