  1. This is the way trades normally go down, on draft day.
  2. I guess I'm a homer. I say top 10. He redefined a position. 2nd best receiver out of the 90s behind Rice. It's a different game you can't just look at stats.
  3. they'd probably be better if they didn't have to come up with a new one EVERY year.
  4. I think it's actually us that trade up to 6 for both firsts and we take a rb. Obviously.
  5. At least he didn't manage to get me excited about the prospect of his retirement. I guess it was more likely than Brady retiring.
  6. got 5/9 assuming they were trying to trick me.
  7. yeah its designed to make you fail. Maybe they should try giving us some actual stats instead of just data. i wonder how people would do if they included something like YPA.
  8. Remember the legendary 2013 draft class Ej Manuel Geno Smith Mike Glennon Matt Barkley Ryan Nassib Tyler Wilson Landry Jones all in the first 4 rds.
  9. yeah I do. i'm just saying I wouldn't view 7-9 as a step backwards, and I certainly wouldn't view our new regime any differently. A lot depends on what they do between now and the start of the season. It wouldn't shock me at all to see us not move up if we can't get a decent deal and roll over some of our draft capital into next year.
  10. even 7-9 with out deadcap would be impressive imo.
  11. I don't guys, I heard that Connor McDermott is a millennial too.
  12. You don't make a trade like that based on your intel. They gave up a bit, could easily have waited until the draft when most trades happen. They're getting what they want or better.
  13. Jets are obviously happy with their top 3 QBs and Mayfield is often the 3rd QB on lots of boards. It's seemed like they were interested in him since the trade.
  14. yeah pretty obvious, you only get fired for losing. Thread solved! Lets pack it up boys its time to go home!
  15. Not a chance this regime gets fired for 1 QB miss. They already made it to the playoffs without a top 10 QB while shipping most of our top picks from recent years. If they can continue to put competitive teams on the field with limited talent they'll be given the time they need to recover from any lost draft capital.
  16. they tried to remake that not too long ago think it only lasted 1 though
  17. What's the point of a backup QB if he can't backup your starter???
  18. If we really do go with just two that means the coaches really like Peterman in which case, yes we start him.
  19. I'd be really surprised if we don't have 3 QBs going into the season. You go with the next best guy on your roster if your starter goes down.
  20. Maybe I didn't read enough Dunkirk Don posts but I didn't think he was that bad, mostly stuck to his own threads, and was good for some laughs. Seemed like saviorpeterman was a pats fan who was constantly trying to derail every conversation on every thread and generally make people miserable.
  21. When two parties agreee to an employee employer relationship there are certain rules and expectations that are in place based on the situation, but that's not what we are talking about here.
  22. I'm not really sure there is an etc there. You can't discriminate against protected classes of people but kneelers and gun owners aren't a protected class of people. Also, it seems like this is evidence he isn't being "black balled" and that there is no conspiracy if Seattle is making up their own mind about pursuing him or not. Teams just aren't interested in him being a huge distraction with mediocre talent. People who are a huge distraction at work are definitely not a protected class.
  23. well, not until the next scandal
