  1. There is only one correlation to NFL success and the wonderlic and its a negative one for CBs.
  2. https://www.tigernet.com/update/Ray-Ray-McCloud-switches-numbers-might-play-CB-28472
  3. His primary position in college was as return man. This will probably be his primary position in the nfl. There's speculation he can do other things like play cb or whatever else. No one is talking about his enormous upside as a WR and so I believe its safe to say that "nobody thinks he was drafted to play WR". That doesn't mean its impossible for him to play some WR downs. I'm sure he will (occasionally) if he succeeds in the league, but that's not really what you want him doing or why you took him. My mother in law is a huge Ray Ray fan because he would make some special plays, often of a gimmicky nature. I don't consider this sort of stuff as "playing wr" even if that's how he might line up sometimes. Steve Tasker contributed plenty at wr when you google him that's the position that comes up for him, but nobody thinks the bills kept him on their roster to play that position. I don't know why the Bills drafted him, but there's lots of reasons that stand out to me and non of them are because they want him as a wr. Maybe they want him to play corner. Maybe they just see a special athlete, maybe they think he'll be a good returner. Like I said I don't know. But to me it seemed that lots of people were talking a lot of **** about the pick as they compared him to other wr still available, so I wanted to point out that his WR skills (almost definitely) aren't why we picked him.
  4. seems like people are complaining b/c they think they can spot a better wr on the board, just pointing out that's not why they drafted him . . . probably.
  5. but they didn't draft him for that reason. they drafted him for other reasons.
  6. Lots of teams keep a spot for their returner. and lots of teams don't like using one of their marque players for the job either. He's played cb before. Clemson put him out there on kick offs not just returns. Was part of a lot of gimicy plays for them too. And just because he will probably never be a starting wr doesn't mean he can't contribute at that position occasionally.
  7. If you get a someone to contribute with a 6 that's a win. I don't care if they're just a longsnapper. He doesn't just do returns on st either.
  8. He would excel when he had a full head of steam ahead of him with returns and reverses and stuff though.
  9. Almost nobody thinks they drafted him to play wr. All you haters should be ashamed of yourselves.
  10. He looked fast when he played in college.
  11. Maybe he's still available b/c he's mostly a special teams player.
  12. My wife is really happy for him.
  13. I watch Clemson, and he's definitely a fan favorite for his production.
  14. could be he mostly played special teams for clemson
  15. I hear if they can't score you can't lose. What position did we take with our first pick again?
  16. Yea passing on Watson last year really saved us.
  17. of course you would answer a question with a question
