  1. Jags taking a long snapper here ... ?
  2. He’s got a hot wife ... that’s plenty ?
  3. Release Slay, draft Okuda ... sounds like what the bills did with CBS for years
  4. Joe looked about as excited as Gilmore did
  5. Should be a simulcast, as ABC and ESPN are both owned by Disney ....
  6. I waited until the draft coverage began, but as I originally stated, there are multiple feeds from multiple locations ....
  7. It’s sports. Actual live sports. I’ll be watching.
  8. Usually a draft is complicated enough when coming from one location, plus player cams at whichever location they are at. Now, you throw in the instability of live shots at multiple locations, which can be sketchy even with broadcast TVU units (backpack transmitters sending HD video over cellular data), but instead going with regular consumer wifi with 32 team feeds plus player feeds all coordinated to a central control room where directors/TDs cut the program for air. It’s a complicated production with a lot of moving parts. I was a producer for the variety kids telethon for years and know what a huge technical undertaking that was, hence my amusement at those calling this draft nothing more than a fantasy draft ?
  9. The player is the last to know when the dream is over
  10. I gotta say, ive worked in media and television production for the past 35 years and am amused by everyone who thinks televising this draft is as easy as some skype call
  11. Anyone who wins using autopick should be publicly shamed through all of eternity
  12. Fantasy drafts don’t involve multiple remote webcams at probably fifty locations
  13. To assume his behavior would continue once leaving the jags is exactly that ... an assumption. I also think that property motivated, he would supplant Motor as the RB1, but that’s a whole different issue.
  14. Agreed and I definitely don’t hate the idea of drafting one. I am however a believer that a window for a championship doesn’t remain open long ... it’s the same reason we gave up a young rookie WR in the first round to trade for Diggs: you’re not guessing or waiting on a rookie-you know what you have with established young vets.
  15. Well there isn’t a much tougher situation than last years jags season, and yet Fournettes production indicated that he reacted just fine sundays at 1p
  16. And I’m absolutely cool signing him for this season only .... you’re gonna get max motivation in a contract year I don’t see NO anywhere in this response
  17. I look at the general dysfunction of the Jags organization as of late, and the mess that Coughlin made with his old old school approach and subsequent firing. Fournette may not win the “hardest working man in football” award, but his stats tell me he works plenty hard enough on game days.
  18. Yet he gave up his first for Diggs ... not advocating for any of these niners but FA and trades play an important role in building a championship roster
  19. I don’t find throwing beer cans at opposing players a illustration of “amazing fans” but I don’t table jump or puke and pass out either, so I suppose I’m not an amazing fan
  20. Well we’d have fournette to come in and run out the clock! Seriously though, you know had a bill taken Brady out, even if it cost us that game, fans would put him on the WOF
  21. Thinking we might be ready for savvy established vets with a track record of success to push us over the top while your QB is under a rookie contract .... ya know, kind of like signing Diggs over a “young hungry rookie WR”
