Bo Jackson’s last game was the win over Cincy in the prior week’s Divisional playoff, got injured and missed the Bills game

    stay classy

Just reading about the Bengals game, apparently his hip was torn out of socket and he claimed to have reset his hip himself (seeing Tua’s injury I just can’t even go there in my mind....) but did blood vessel damage around  the socket...

best self repair since Matt Millen broke off the adhesions in his calcified/ossified elbow doing power lifting

Yea bills caught a break there  ... no was rarified talent for sure

Great game!  But Buffalo should never have kicked that last field goal.  The game should have ended 48-3.  I know a Raiders fan who has never forgotten that kick.  Breaking 50 points was a real "in your face" move by Levy and the Bills and never should have happened.  That field goal would have been nice to have the following game - some karma there.

F the chokeland faders ... they talked all kinds of smack before that game like they were gonna roll the bills. Should have made it 71-3

Jim Kelly and Marv Levy are why the Bills lost that superbowl.  Keep feeding Thurman and the Bills win easy. It's not reason 10,000,000,000. It's reason #1.

It means - critiquing Joe B’s analysis because he’s not coaching football is cheap and adds nothing to this discussion.  At least the guy is breaking down film and offering real football insight.  I’m sure its fairly subjective but he makes some really good points and I am tired of the cheap reactions to any critical writer.

The “let’s see you/him do better” reactions exhibit no real thought on the matter. Joe b isn’t always right, but he puts in the work in order to form a valid opinion, something that more posters should do

  4. Barkley starts and goes for 500 and 5tds ... pegula then decides to start him over Allen against the Texans ... we then lose on a forward lateral with 12 seconds left ... a Christmas nightmare ??

People like to do different things and express themselves differently. There is no wrong way or right way to be a fan

You are correct, although to many of these “fans” if you offer a dissenting or dare I say a critical view, you are automatically branded a hater/fake fan/bandwaggoner and are kindly told to be a fan of another team ... and there’s the ones that would prefer a solution akin to a communist China chat group and have you banned for not genuflecting

Lol. You doubt the guy that has shown 200% improvement in his entire game from year one, to year two, and has continued developing throughout year two, won’t improve?

Your thread title is accurate. Your post is garbage.

Your flaw is that you believe improvements are a linear process. No one knows where the ceiling lies.

That's exactly what some of these folks seem to be saying.

It's like a small fraction of the Bills fan base has the football equivalent of ADD and wants a new QB every couple of seasons.  They have NO patience and their expectations are whacked out.

Allen has scored 29 TD's to 13 TO's.  This is very solid and next year we should expect something in the neighborhood of 40 TD's & 10 TO's.

We are 3 - 2 against the "good" defenses in the last 5 games.  Last I looked that's a winning record.

What I'm happy about is that overall Allen has played well against these top D's.  That first NE game was a potential harbinger of doom for Allen.  What if that's how almost every one of his games against top flight defenses will look?  But it wasn't.  Allen has improved and as long as he keeps improving he is the guy.

Yes he certainly has improved. Whether he’s the GUY?  Still open to debate.

Allen & the Bills O have played 5 top 10 defenses in a row.  Three of these D's are top 5.  Three of the 5 games were on the road.  And while Allen hasn't lit things up he has played very solidly.  He's scored 9 TD's and had only 3 TO's.  The Bills record after these 5 games is 3 - 2.

Allen has shown significant improvement this season.  With more help on the O and continued improvement next year he will IMO be a top 5 - 10 QB in the NFL.

So we’re happy with beating crappy defenses but not good ones ... sounds like a recipe for success
