  1. Interesting stuff … I’ve always been fan of Dan Soder - I won’t hold his lifelong friendship with MMD against him 😂
  2. I won’t bother responding. This sums up my feelings perfectly
  3. I’m just not shot in the butt with any player who chooses to negotiate a contract via social media. I like him, but I don’t love him enough to back up a Brinks truck for him.
  4. Drafting a long snapper on day one would probably get me worked up … other than that, I’ll give McBeane the benefit of the doubt until said pick turns into another Elam.
  5. Still do. No ball, but the hoop is hanging on the back of the door in the man cave
  6. It’s now Hockey Outlet … nothing better than a January 6am practice at that unheated barn. I spent many many days there over the years involved in the wheatfield travel program. Great memories
  7. Fried bologna = manna from heaven
  8. I saw them before they were anybody at a little bar on transit road in depew … Cougars I think it was called. They were okay back then. I can handle the song “Dead or Alive”, but other than that, they’re basically Justin Bieber for middle aged women.
  9. Due to advances in sports training and equipment development, I don’t think any of the old time greatest could hold a candle to Rory … not to mention golf probably didn’t draw the top athletes back in the day
  10. Mike White for Chris Olive straight up … who’s with me?😂
  11. For a time I owned a delivery business and was on the road in a large truck by 6am …. Driving dark roads in the winter was never the most fun activity, and having to wait until 830a for the sunrise was a definite no from me.
  12. I’m 64 and saw them at the Ralph a few years back … I’m sure I’m above average though 😂
  13. Yeah … win a championship and then we’ll talk (or maybe not)
  14. I’m a big fan of garbage plates and the museum of play … the two best things in Rochester IMO
  15. I’ll be honest, the bandits were that downtown event that you could take your kids to for not a lot of cash, and I just tend to not get excited about them as some major sport … a friend twisted my arm a few years back to go to a championship game and that was cool.
  16. I suppose, in the pantheon of lunch ladies I remember, she would rank as a hottie and I guess she could serve me a cafeteria 🌮
  17. Congrats Lady Bulls! Glad to see the barn sold out and rocking 🤘… they should give the men’s/women’s NIT champs and automatic bid in the big dance the following season
  18. Sabres store at KBC is nice, and if you’re looking for local crafters spins of Bills gear, Rustic Buffalo Artisan Market has some nice offerings. Around these parts, pretty much any large supermarket has a respectable amount of team gear.
  19. It was tongue in cheek 😂 …. I’m a treasurer at a local fire company and I’ve hired those two bands numerous times for our beer tent, which is a big reason why I’m sick of them 😂. However, they have followings, and when you’re trying to fill a tent and make money, there isn’t any real alternatives. We’ve tried talented bands without followings, and it was a flop, and even bands like Strictly Hip failed to bring in the revenue we are after
  20. Maybe my favorite band as a pre-teen/early teen …. Actually shocking how many hits they had. One of my first albums was TDN: Live at the forum, and it was laden with blues heavy rock with plenty of Hammond B3 and Leslie speakers. Good stuff. Can you please play Living on a Prayer and Don’t Stop Believing?? We need to hear more of that 😂😂😂😂
  21. Without looking at data, I would guess that the vast majority of teams with a young, potentially franchise level quarterback, would opt for a steady veteran hand behind him who is a willing teacher, rather than another raw rook, regardless of said raw rooks potential. Milton had to go if he wanted to advance his career. It could be argued that NE should’ve held out for more of a return, bout I don’t think that Milton’s performance against an unmotivated Bills defense filled with backups moved the needle that much. If someone offered a 2nd for Cook, I’d personally pack his bags and drive him to the airport
  22. Has Rob Johnson entered this chat yet?
  23. Sabres fans would relish the opportunity to do that, as did Bills fans when that Tyrod led team broke the drought.
  24. Anyone following the UB women’s journey to the WNIT title game? I’m not a huge hoops fan, and I usually regard the NIT tournaments as the “losers bracket”, but good for them on getting this far, and playing the title game on home hardwood 👏🏽 On a related note, I’ve always believed that UB should drop their football program and put all their resources behind building a Gonzaga-type program, which I think this area would really embrace.
  25. Rex Ryan disagrees
