  1. This where we’re posting our OL predictions? Im going with Dawkins Spain Morse Ford Nsekhe Long back up center Waddle swing tackle (Nsekhe would move over if needed) feliciano and teller battle for final iOL spot.
  2. Rodgers Roethlisberger and even Foles was running RPO are all mobile. Is it just skewed by Brady and the Manning Brothers winning so many? I agree you need to be good in the pocket but a lot of mobile QBs win (or get to) the Bowl. I'm not really considering Dilfer or Johnson as mobile. I would argue the 2015 Broncos Defense carried Manning versus him "winning" from the pocket. There are many ways to win or get to the Super Bowl; however, I would agree that having a great pocket passer is the most common method.
  3. His bio on pff says #4 https://www.profootballfocus.com/nfl/players/lee-smith/6311 but only lists him as above average.
  4. Basically. They will likely use some for mid year signings and the rooks will be a bit but yeah it rolls over.
  5. I agree with this assessment, but I wonder if/hope an NFL weight room might do something to help his explosiveness. BC primarily runs the ball so maybe he hasn't conditioned his body that way yet. That would be great considering his hands (the full layout catch was very nice).
  6. I've heard good things about his blocking (I'll try to find reference) which was surprising to me since he was a former QB. I think both of these TEs were good pick ups. It was a very good year for TEs so hopefully we found 2 good ones.
  7. I think there is little chance Knox makes it to the PS. Someone would probably pick him up. I think we drop Dimarco and keep 4 TE's. Fisher and Sweeney battling for the last spot but Fisher loses pretty clearly.
  8. Would the apples to apples comparison be yards per target? These numbers actually made me hopeful for the kid. He’s likely gonna stay his rookie contract.
  9. I think a lot of them have degrees already. They are just early in the sense they could play another year.
  10. So we’re getting close. I saw maxx was sniff the board. Is it D Thompson at safety that we’re thinking? Shareef from PSU? Getting to guys I know little about.
  11. Been a pain trying to tell people this all draft.
  12. At least it’s not in the first?
  13. Can we just trade a 6th to the bengals now to get in front of the cheats and give them 7 total 6th rounders.
  14. Do it in draft with talent. It’s pretty clear no GMs think the WRs are good this year. I will accept a TE
  15. Moving ahead of them should be easy. We’ve jumped already.
  16. I loved Taylor but I’m gonna trust Beane on this. All I wanted was a good OT at that spot. I trust the process that they got a good one
  17. Watching Myles Jack out produce him (rushing yards vs receiving yards) while covering him the whole game in college was great film.
  18. We can’t exercise his 5th option. The deadline has passed
  19. Good pick. I know there was a lot of desire for WR but this class is good at OT.
  20. I threw Taylor in as an example of good OT still on the board. Harry did play against a down Pac 12 but he was changing the outcome of games. I didnt see that with any of the guys you listed (now with tape on all). I am not confident Butler will hold on to the ball enough and DK is too one dimensional. I am also leveraging the analysis of the other draft scouts (too much tape for any one person).
  21. I think I've done adequate research between tape and reading others analysis. I watched the Butler tape. Was not impressed (too many drops). I was high on Harry based on his tape. I saw bits of AJ from the DK tape. I'll look at a game now, but I don't think his game is there. I DID see Taylor man handle Josh Allen and really everyone against him. We can disagree about if the tackle talent is better than the WR talent in this draft. Finished the Auburn game for AJ brown. I don't see the upside relative to anyone we have currently. He had 2 big gainers and a TD. Also 3 balls that hit him in the hands (2 were difficult catches the other he got hit hard on). Caught him loafing on several plays. I dont see it (I was more biased in this game than all my other evaluations probably). His stats were super interesting when considered with the film I've seen (one game and pieces from the DK review) he appears to be a boom or bust guy (not much on a bubble or chunks of yards cause he got into open space). He honestly reminds of a poor man's Sammy. Lastly, it seems AJ kills it during garbage time and against over matched opponents. I contrast this with Harry who was often making game breaking plays in the 4th quarter. What are you thinking AJ brings that we don't have in the WR room? I can tell you Taylor is a beast on the tape. Finally 4 OTs off the board in round 1 and only 2 WR. This draft is good at OT. We should get one so we don't need one in a down year next year.
  22. Yeah I think our assessment of the WR room is the same (not looking long term with any one but Cole really), but DK can't change directions/Butler has the drops/I didnt watch tape of AJ. Like I said I'm not sold on any of them. I think our OL room is only slightly better than our WR room so thats where my focus is with pick 2. Good discussion thanks!
  23. I liked his tape against Josh Allen. I thought he could be plug and play RT. remind me what your thoughts on him were. Agreed on DK.
