Titans versus KC sounds hilarious to me. Let those team go at it. Gladly play the steelers in round 2 over those other 2. Lots of good teams in the AFC maybe if KC is the 1 seed, the 2 WC we dont play could upset. That would also be great cause 2 home games!!!

I thought this play was very different. Wasn’t he the flat defender in cover 2 for that pick. There were two receivers on his side and he got depth cause he knew it was 3 rd and long. This looks like cover 3 and he’s got a deep third. Cause of the motion away and then Allen running a crosser he gets to roam. I guess he was free to roam in both picks but very different coverages imo

I agree with the OP. Something feels different to me. No longer wide eyed kids new to the game. They feel hungry. The defense walking off the field at the end of the yesterday had some swagger. I feel we are closer to a deep playoff run than a first round bounce.

I get it. I can understand Vedvik cause he can do both but I wouldnt want to use multiple spots on the PS. We have used those players a good bit this season. Do we know how many other teams are keeping a kicker on the PS for this? Do we think itll change after the broncos situation?

Def a concern. My biggest hope is that coaching staff has emphasized how important it is to take care of self outside the building like with nutrition.

Why does any of that unit need to interact with the rest of the team (hell can almost stay away from each other too)? From that perspective i think the likelihood of losing a kicking unit be low whereas QBs share a room together and interact with other team members.

Yup. I think the coaching staff is saying its a brand new season including the playoffs. I'm pretty excited. If they rise to the moment we have a special couple months coming up.

I think the team would love to play them again. As that game was ending I thought all their actions were just good bulletin board material.

Best passing down front might be Oliver Hughes Addison Klein Edmunds and milano. That’s a pretty fun nascar package. I trust all of them to rush.

Agree with most your points but we only lose to good teams. It looks like we could let any one back in but really the pats are the only bad team that even got close. I think not blowing out the Jets has left a mark on the fans. as you said we can hang with anyone and have a signature win. I’m super excited to see the coming weeks. I think we are closer to having a special season than a loss in the first round of the playoffs.

I think I’m ok with it. Yeah we have not blown anyone out but I have felt really comfortable with our lead with 4 min to go in all but 2 of our wins (pats and rams). Maybe it feels weird cause we did get blown out in two of our losses (though I think they were closer than the score) which wasn’t our MO last year.

So this years bears team is bills teams from the 00’s that got off to unsustainable starts.

I agree with the points you make. I am still ok with it because when we have 1st half leads (we do often) you can afford to do that. The part that really makes me feel ok with it is even when we let a good team do that (cards) we can respond. Having to recover an onside kick to win the game is not a problem. It’s a 95% thing. Having to win games by FGs that’s a different story. That means you were down or tied. Onside kicks mean you were up by two possessions in the closing minutes. I see your concerns but I think with a rising defense and a franchise QB we might be on the precipice of a really fun run.

I also think he was a big part of limiting Keenan Allen. Plays in the run game tend to pop more than taking away plays in the back end.

Nice thanks everyone for responding. Sorta off the OP but that makes this the best game by our rookies by far. Probably best game of this year for the 2019 draft too (although Ford is done 🤮)
