  1. Like i said recent posting history. Seems youre rather defensive about how much we talk about the Pats is all. Are you not concerned about the QB player this year? This seems to be by far your weakest position group.
  2. Your recent posting history (Since May 10) says that you have only participated in Patriots threads. So... are you here to talk football or defend Pats in June?
  3. Those are not nailed throws by Mac. He threw pretty far behind his receiver and they had to slow up a lot.
  4. Love what they are doing on the lines. Its the offensive skill positions that cause my concern. Its a passing league and I'm not sure they have the long term plan there correct. Is Baker truth and how much are you paying him? Do they need Chubb? Will OBJ live up to his contract? Are there any receivers after OBJ and Landry? I think they have made a formidable team for this year, and going forward they have a lot of good pieces. However, I have concerns that they will be able to compete in the passing game long term. We have many times seem "capable QB" play get paid too much and that results in other players not being affordable. That is my concern for their team. If you are comfortable with Baker long term then more power to you.
  5. That was the Knox challenge but same game. By the time josh hit diggs for TD #3 on the run in that play, BB didn’t have the will to get upset.
  6. Titans we’re a winner this off season? Their defense is very bad. I think everyone is a bit too high on the browns but they will be good if mayfield doesn’t stink up the joint. For the browns I sorta don’t see the long term plan as well as I do for us. How much are they prepared to pay mayfield when he wins another first round playoff game? Also love that the north and west get to beat up on each other this year.
  7. I was super not sold on that move as much as others in the media were. He was retired and moving to a new position. I wouldve bet allegretti was better let alone Duvarney-Tardiff.
  8. Not directed to me, but I'll answer. Where I feel more comfortable with our lack of continuity over the Chiefs is time in the system. Yes we haven't had our starting line up play a snap together but all our anticipated starters and most of the backups (besides the two tackle towers) have had more than a year in the offensive system. For the Chiefs, they don't have that besides Allegretti, Remmer, and Duvarney-Tardiff.
  9. Much thanks for the addition. I think they have a bit more depth at iOL with Allegretti and Duvernay-Tardiff than tackle, but with a new Center, new LG, and potentially new RT this could definitely stress the communication that comes from reps.
  10. I thought so too but he looks super fit now. Bit of a butter ball previously. Thats a solid 312 (not sure exactly where cover 1 got this weight from) hes got going on right now.
  11. Heard from cover 1 dudes that he was looking fit too. Saw this picture on an article. Anyone on Twitter got a better picture. He does look like he lost weight.
  12. Think it was the Colts game when Josh shotputted the ball to him. He secured it and then just thud. Our only offensive TD in the Ravens game was the screen to Diggs when we outnumbered them on the outside.
  13. Will add that the drive out of half time against the Steelers was very good and made that game feel out of reach. Overall, my favorites would be aforementioned Colts and Ravens. For colts it was impressive that we could be outplayed for the first half and we would have the lead. For Ravens, it was just a feel of inevitability. We had seen Josh and the offense roll coming out half times in the prior games (remember our 3rd quarter woes), and it felt like they wouldnt be stopped.
  14. Not sure where youre looking but this article indicates the switch happened before cut down day and before the first game on 13SEP. https://buffalowdown.com/2020/09/02/buffalo-bills-could-reggie-gilliam-make-the-roster-as-a-tight-end/
  15. I also like Beasley down the sideline early in the Rams game. Ignore this trash and go watch the Cover 1 break downs of Josh this year. They are awesome and a lot of fun. Thankfully they went the whole season (NFL didnt shut them down). Watching those over the 3 years of Allens career has been worth the time investment.
  16. Agree don't cut him yet. I do want competition there. Then maybe they can convince Star that he should return some of the money and just retire. Also all the Lolz for the poster saying that Diggs (who lead the league in targets) was just a complimentary piece in this offense. He got thrown to more than Devin or Moss got touches.
  17. More is with held but at the end of the year its still income. So at the end of the year it is still taxed at the same rate as provided by the example. You just dont get as much upfront.
  18. No, the bills have a cap that most fantasy football leagues dont have. Particularly ones where you make that type of move. Are there any examples of that type of contract structuring happening. Also would note were talking about moving up 7 mil. That would be 1.4 mil per year savings if a 5 year deal. Not even that much benefit imo.
  19. Agree with @Shaw66, Josh and Tremaine are on the books for this year so you dont need to free space THIS year for their contracts. Overall, I don't expect Tremaine to get an extension till probably after his 5th season. Really need to see sustained growth with him. I do agree this is more likely to be an uexpected move. My dark horse is for a 1 Tech and now that Star doesnt cost money to cut they bring in some competition.
  20. Jamal Adams on the list is pretty bad imo. He looked awful in our game. Maybe it was just one but he had missed assignments and was scorched.
  21. We talk how he played good in 2019 and we would’ve loved to see more. But we forget the Bills did see more of him. In training camp for a few weeks. If he was performing at his 2019 level in training camp (seems likely) then that should assuage some of those fears. He’s obviously at the facilities so the bills would also have good perspective on his approach this year relative to 2019. I like Joe Marino (I’m in his jersey raffle) but I think he might be missing what McBeane see. Star has gotten me worried so I’m really hoping for Harry to play out of his mind.
  22. I listened to Joe Marino’s recent podcast on KC overall and it showed me a couple of things I was missing. On the cheap labor front he noted how so many of their late round picks have had success. Particularly in the defensive backfield. Some questions going forward still with the loss of Breeland but the late round success has made cap management easier (probably enables this years spending). I still think OL could be a challenge for them if just one or two of these moves don’t work out. At the end of the day, their ability to have their big $ players be successful has really been the most important for their cap management. If we didn’t have even the bad (not worst ever) contract of Star we could do a lot to improve.
  23. Thanks was interested in your insight. Depth and long term investment will also be interesting for y’all although I think Gunner explained how it can work. Appreciate the perspective particularly about hitches contract. I definitely don’t know enough to try and say they should’ve done what I did(was not in the OP). Rather was responding to prodding of what would o have done and that’s what popped in after a bit of looking. I think their cap situation is interesting though. By trading for brown they are not necessarily looking for cheap talent. I do not want the Bills trading away a first after this season to plug a hole. We need cheap labor and I think chiefs are in a similar position. The brown move is not cheap labor (although he is very talented) at a premium position.
  24. While his Drop % isn't fully corrected he cut it in half last year so he should get some credit for that improvement. After his SECOND stint on inactive list he had 16 catches for 179 yards which extrapolates to 42 catches for 477 yards for a season. If he can stay healthy and continue to decrease his drop % I think hell be good. The staying healthy is my biggest concern.
  25. Hes gonna be on this roster unless others out play him at 1 Tech. Considering its our worst position group I dont think its gonna happen.
