Why exactly do we need more positive people on this site? Is one of your relatives employed by the Bills? Are we just supposed to be a bunch of lap dogs and praise everything this organization does? If you go to a restaurant five times and the meal is terrible everytime do you keep going? Please feel free to explain because Im really confused. The Bills dont play for free. They dont work for minimum wage and the prices they charge arent chreap. 17 years of losing and Im just suppossed to accept that? Fork over 100 a ticket. 30 bucks for parking. 7 bucks for a crappy piece of pizza and 10 for a watered down beer. Guess Im just a big fat loser for expecting more. Maybe I should cut my kids out of my will and give everything to the players. I mean seriously. Who can live on 10 million a year.

Really tired of the lower ceiling blast. What the hell does that even mean. Ive seen so many players with so called high ceilings flame out. Ill bet Marcell Dareus had a high ceiling and Kyle Williams probably didnt even have a ceiling. Ill take a player like Kyle over Captain fat a$$ 24/7. Shaq reminds me alot of Kyle. Yes I realize one is an end and one is a tackle. Im talking about character. Grit. Playing hard all the time. Thats Shaq. You wont be able to run his way and hell give you 8-10 sacks a year. Ill take 11 of those types of players on defense over some underacheiver with a high ceiling. Shaq is gonna very quietly establish himself as one of our top defenders over the next few years. Someone you can always count on. Not flashy. Just dependable and solid as a rock.

Theyve fixed the defense and completely ruined the offense. The opposite of last year which will likely lead to the same 6-10, 7-9, 8-8 record weve grown accustom to. Wonder what marketing slogan Brandon is working on for next year!

Its amazing how much better the defense looks in the right scheme. Im really at a loss as to why they needed to change an offense that was tenth in scoring last year. On top of that you trade away your only deep threat. Mind boggling

Mcdermott has done to the offense is exactly what Rex did to the defense last year. Taken them out a scheme that fit them perfectly and put them into a scheme that doesnt fit them at all. The offense and defense have traded places from last year. In an additionally brilliant move we traded away our only deep threat so we can expect to see eight or nine in the box the rest of the year with no ability to exploit that.

I like WGR.They arent perfect. John Murphy makes me want to vomit with incessant cheerleading. Jeremy White is just a little bit to full of himself and Schopps "youve got to throw the ball 150 times a game" take has gotten beyong old but I think the station does a good job overall.

Bad route. Ive heard and read in a couple of places, Donald Jones included, that he should have run that route up not out based on the coverage. I think a poster in this forum even pointed that out after the game Sunday. Would have been a somewhat tough grab but it was a catchable ball.

Interesting that some of the Rams players said they were glad to have Sammy because now they had somebody that defenses have to play over the top. Translation: respect the deep pass. But what do they know. They only play the game. Pretty sure they had other guys on the roster playing wr. Guys who couldnt get deep consistently.

You watch the team the way you want to. Ill watch the team the way I want. The fact that I choose not to be a kool aid chugging rose colored glass wearing myopic fool doesnt make me any less a fan than anybody else. Im encouraged by the following. 1. Mcdermott has this team playing much more disciplined football. Far fewer penalties. Plays are getting in on time. 2. Defense has been outstanding. Only concern is that they will wear down if they continue to be forced to play 35 plus mins per game. Im discourage by the following. 1. The decision to change the offensive scheme in the offseason. Why do these NFL coaches insist on brining in their own schemes when the prior scheme was fine. Rex did it with the defense. Now Mcdermott has chosen to do it with the offense. Was Rick Dennison the only coordinator available on planet earth when they hired him. Was there not one person in the entire county that could have kept last years scheme intact. This year looks like the exact same thing as last year except its the offense with the wrong scheme and the defense with the right one. 2. Trading of Sammy. Ive been pretty vocal about Sammys injury history and felt it was an issue. But I also recognized that Julio Jones had a very similar start to his career and I wasnt ready to kick Sammy to the curb just yet. Trading one of our two explosive players on offense was foolish.One of Tyrods biggest stengths is the deep ball. If Sammy is on the field yesterday I highly doubt Carolina is crowding the line of scrimmage the way they did. Not only did we severely impact our passibg game with that trade but Im also concerned that our running game will be seriously impacted. Other teams are going to watch that carolina game and Im pretty sure youll be seeing 8 in the box the rest of the year. 3. The changes on offense have neutered Tyrod. Tyrod clearly has his limits but there are things he does well. Throw deep. Run the read option. Both seem to have been eliminated from the offense. If thats the plan why did they even bring him back. Put some journeyman in. Go 2-14 and Get your qb without having to give up numerous picks to move up in next years draft Does having these concerns make me a bad fan? Absolutely not. I have every right to voice my displeasure. If I didnt give a crap I sure as heck wouldnt waste my time on this board and I sure as heck wouldnt have wasted my time watching the game yesterday. Cant say Im as enthralled with Peterman the way some are but Im all for starting him at some point if this continues which it probably will. Dont think your gonna see a change though until the second half of the year. Probably week 14 or 15. Well be 4-6 and in the hunt with 6 games to go then drop three in a row and Peterman will finish out the season.

All of which really leaves me scratching my head as to why they brought him back. You (the bills) dont believe hes the long term answer. You appear to want to pick a qb high in nexts years draft. You trade away the only wr who can consistently stretch the field and eliminate one of the things he does best. Why bother restructuring? Just cut him loose. Suck the whole year. Go 2-14. Now you dont even need to trade up in all likelyhood. You can get the qb you covet and use all those picks for other needs. Sometimes you just need to suck it up. Accept your fate and do the smart thing. I want superbowl victories. Not wild card appearances. Not 8-8 seasons. Not picking 10th every year. This " were trying to win all the time " crap is nonsense. They arent trying to win 'this' year. Not really. They want it to appear they are but everything theyve done offensively really speaks to the opposite. Just dont get the thinking at OBD.

Not saying Tyrod is good. Just dont get the Jones love. Hes big. Hes got a strong arm. Great. Lots of big guys come to the NFL with big arms and they are washing cars three years later.

Actually there is some truth to his post. Its called lack of a deep threat. I dont think Carolina sits on our run game like they did if Watkins is on this team. The problem is we dont have any WRs that defenses are afraid of now. Thats why that trade made zero sense to me. You traded away what Taylor does best and you changed the offense to what Taylor is poorest at. Clearly because you dont think hes the long term answer. We did to the offense this year what Rex did to the defense last year. Trying to fit a square peg in a round hole

I dont like Tyrod any more than you but I really dont know how you come to this conclusion on Jones. He lost his starting job in college and was very underwhelming in his only NFL start. Think hes closer to a journeyman backup than legit NFL starter.
