  1. Steve Johnson is our 2nd WR. The guy has played great in every chance he's gotten. He'll turn some heads when given more playing time.
  2. w00t! Addition by subtraction, always the best. Finally the Tom Donaho era is fading.
  3. I could be wrong .. but ... from my memory I believe that once LT signs with another team, that voids his contract with SD completely (minus any signing bonuses)
  4. After the fact that Andy Stern is on the Deficit Commission Panel, There is not one accurate statement in this whole thread.
  5. I still don't know why they passed on Orakpo
  6. I would have gone to a different college.
  7. I always wonder how much to tip at a buffet. I never know.
  8. Your links no worky
  9. You would have a point, except... he does town hall meetings all of the time. Those are similar in that he makes a short speech and then opens up the floor for a few questions. The only difference is town halls are not usually nationally televised on all major TV networks.
  10. !!! Lets get Westbrook, TO, and McNabb and recreate the 2004 Eagles!!!
  11. I do. I really have been wondering why the !@#$ Obama has not been doing PC's. He did like 3 of them really close together, and then just stopped. It's kind of pissing me off. Like "what is he hiding?" kind of stuff.
  12. I was just proving that two people can make up false statements and attribute them to the other. It's not hard. You make up things, then so will I.
  13. So you are saying the Republicans let 3 of their Senators vote for this bill purely as a strategic move to be used to deflate the "party of No" label that the Republicans have earned themselves? .. because secretly they knew it was a good bill and wanted it to pass?
  14. So Scott Brown voted to cut taxes. But he didn't vote along party lines, he voted for what is best for Massachusetts .. right wingers go batshit crazy with hate for him. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Scott-Brown/...id=325681096282
  15. I did not know ... JP won the UFL Championship (as a starter even). Well breasts to him I guess, good on him.
  16. (I'm no expert, I've only run one 13 mile marathon... with a terrible time) For me, my diet is one thing I have to be wary of when I'm running. If I'm too full it hurts, and if I'm too hungry I feel week. I try to eat a medium sized meal about 3-4 hours before I run. Of course eat carbs and veggies and the sort of thing. Also.. shoes are the most important thing. Spare no costs or efforts when picking out your running shoes. You won't regret it.
  17. Real Salt Lake (reigning MLS Champions)
  18. I love this topic. So many bad players, so little time QB - RJ (backup is JP) RB - Shaud Williams FB - Darian Barnes WR - Bobby Shaw WR - Josh Reed TE - Michael Gaines G - Tuten Reyes G - Bennie Anderson C - Bill Conaty RT - Mike Williams LT - Jonas Jennings LDE - Chidi Ahanotu DT - Tim Anderson (I'm torn between him and Justin Bannan) DT - Larry Tripplett (Wow, we've had some bad DT's - McCargo doesn't make the cut?) DT - John McCargo (Gotta put him on the list) DE - Ryan Denney OLB - Eddie Robinson MLB - Brandon Spoon OLB - Keith Ellison CB - Chris Watson CB - Jason Webster SS - Coy Wire FS - Pierson Prioleau K - Jake Arians P - Chris Mohr (c'mon he's got Moorman as his only competition)
  19. I still haven't recovered from watching that movie - in 2004. Good God why did he make that thing?
  20. Well... I mean.. it's a recall for 2001 and 2002 Accords. These have been on the road for a long time. How many owners will find out about the recall and even car to take their car in for it we do not know. Also if you read the article and not the sensationalist headline that these news corps are so good at, the recall is for 440,000. Anyways, for perspective, the Toyota recall is 8 Million cars.
  21. Honda has a small recall for airbags also. Small recalls are coming out of the woodworks now because the car companies know they can hide in the shadow of Toyota's big f-up. The theory is that the news media won't spend much time covering the smaller recalls. Reality is they've known about these problems for a while. They are just strategically picking right now to announce them. With computerized systems and such, cars are getting a good bit more complex than they used to be.
  22. oh right, i'll be sad because the corrupt democrat majority will be replaced by a corrupt republican majority? yes, everything in this country is going to change on that day. well shoot i better git to collecting these guns, i'm a runnin' outa time. obama can't be a dictator if the people can shoot at him.
  23. so some people here i think are brainwashed, some here people i think are stubborn, others are stupid, and still others just haven't done enough reading. i mock all of them. you however are on some other level where you can't even be taken serious in the slightest. it's like if barney the dinosaur came up to me and started telling in his happy voice that hugo chavez is a good president. it's just comical. you are a comedy sidebar. i kind of like you posting. it's so lighthearted and silly to read your posts that it's a good break from some of the serious and challenging discussions. so thanks! i do enjoy your comedic presence.
  24. There were well reasoned arguments for why he did that. It's not like he shook the magic 8-ball and it told him to take it down. That decision was the result of research and reports and assessments on what other options were available. I'm sure this information is available somewhere. He did speak on it at the time.
