  1. yes, i saw it. no respect for the Bills at all.
  2. We traded Travis Henry? and only a 3rd rounder.... geeze TD needs to be fired!!!!
  3. http://' target='_blank'>
  4. Meh. whats to grasp, just get in peoples way. Its easy, even a door can do it.
  5. what words rhyme with mickey? hickey sticky picky ......
  6. anything even resembling an offense gets us in the playoffs last year. being in the nfc gets us in the playoffs last year denver, baltimore, and jacksonville all losing in week 17 gets us into the playoffs last year changing our team name to "the patriots" gets us into the playoffs last year... .. blah...
  7. erm... you mean our great defense greater.. right??
  8. to be honest.. you better play your cards right in free agency if you want to win games. you need a 2nd starting rb, definately pick up toefield in case taylor is not a go this year (hint you don't really need 2 kickers). anyways, there will be some big name rb who gets hurt this year, be ready to jump on him. last year nick goings(who?) saved my team. your wr's are your strength though. and one of those 2 qb's is bound to have a great year.
  9. mm.. take gonzo.. he'd be interesting to mix in with your team already. otherwise take a good wr, steve smith is a great choice, but you might even be able to pick him up next round.
  10. So this is funny. I first read the quote, and thought nothing of it, other than Brett Favre is a real hick. then you guys started suggesting that it was a homosexual statement or something. goes to prove that anything can be mis interpreted to mean anything these days. i often wondered why peter jackson made sam and frodo not so affectionate towards each other as they were in the book. one day i realized that people would be stupid and think that sam and frodo were gay. peter jackson probably realized this too. so at minimum I just hope nobody here is dumb enough to seriously think JP meant that in a gay way.
  11. The thread topics were listed as: "Zhitnik to Isles" and then right below it.. "Losman to Moulds" Where is this Moulds team located, and why did we trade JP already?
  12. Pray that McNabb is still there and grab him. You would be unstopable at that point. Else I guess just take Culpepper. Your league is semi leaned towards QB's so getting a good one would help. If those two are gone, Steven Jackson might be a really good 2nd rounder.
  13. and who was that Flames goalie?.. Mike Vernon, that right. that Flames team was a lot of fun.
  14. take the nylon fabric and wrap it into the aluminum cooking utensils cut it in half with the knives and the stick one end onto the corkscrew. take your bent fork and gather some of the flora in adirondack mountains and then dip it into the stream water. crush some of the altoids and mix it with the dessenex. stick the cooking utensils into his mouth and then dip your misc clothing into the altiod/dessenex mixture. have him hold open the would with the flora/fork and them lay the clothing onto it. take the ipod and 30 ft of rope and secure the clothing to the wound. simple as that. give him a few days to heal and then you'll be back onto your journey.
  15. They just need to trade for Theo, and al Mcinnis, and then bring gary suter out of retirement. sweetness.
  16. just take willis. he's a fantasy stud + you get the added bonus of being able to root for a bills player every sunday.
  17. lol, i love this article on losing satan.. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news?slug=knig...night&type=lgns
  18. Thanks, that was awesome!!!
  19. Man, I need to post more. Guess I have a long ways to go.
  20. They had a lot of comebacks. Look at the box scores, at least 4 they were behind in but came back towards the end of the season. But I'll say this, I watched Pitt games last year, and Big Ben can throw for 300 yards.. he just hasn't. edit: ahhh.. sfladave1 has it covered. read his post its better than mine.
  21. (Not that I fault TD for bringing in Bledsoe, in fact I'm glad he did).... With Bledsoe out of this town, now we'll really find out what a team that TD has built is capable of. Bledsoe was part of the bad luck that he's had. So he erased that and now we move on.
  22. Good, not allow me to counterpoint one thing... Well lets look at TD's record in Pittsburgh. He was 77-51 there. He also made the playoffs 6 times in 8 years. So you would have to re-word that to say: Well-documented: TD's failure to assemble a team that made the playoffs within the last four years (a marker that well over two-thirds of NFL teams have passed in the same 4-year period). Changes in the above statement to notice: 1. I changed "can make the playoffs" to "made the playoffs". The way you worded it implied the team he assembled couldn't make the playoffs. That of course is only an opinion and not a fact. As shown by last years NFC, 9-7 can make the playoffs and would normally be good enough if the AFC was not so tough last year. 2. I specified that he has not made the playoffs within the last 4 years. Obviously he has been the GM of a team that has made the playoffs within his career. Just not within the last 4 years Also your posts show that you are completely missing the point of original post which was, possibly TD's teams have had some bad luck over the last 4 years. He was saying that maybe there are other reasons the Bills have lost other than TD. Yes, TD does hire everybody, and is at the top. Let me give you an analogy though. If one crazy American goes to Canada and lights off a nuclear bomb, is the whole American Government to blame? How about the President, is he to blame because everything did not happen perfectly underneath him? . If one Priest rapes a young boy, is the whole Catholic Church (or Pope) needing to be fired also? Can you see now that his record might not tell the whole truth of his tenure here in Buffalo? Looking at the team as objectively as I can, I've decided that I like the team that we have and for the most part am happy with the job TD has done. I don't care that we haven't made the playoffs. I would rather be the Bills, with a great defense and a good shot at either the Super Bowl (if JP clicks) or 4-12 (if JP fails), than the Broncos, with a good shot at a 9-7 season, but almost no shot at the Super Bowl since their team has already played up to their full potential and failed. (But the Broncos made the playoffs last year so their GM is awesome!!) Disclaimer: I put a lot of time and thought into this post, please read it thoroughly and respect it before making thoughtless replies to it
  23. Huh??? I'm trying to understand your point, or even what side you are on, but I can't make it out. Please clarify yourself.
  24. yeah so stupid. why even bother watching the regular season. your team will make the playoffs, and games just don't matter every night so that players will not be going all out every game.
