  1. curtis is a #2 guy on a pass happy established team that almost always gets 250 yards through the air. evans is a #2 guy on well.. a team that can't ever throw for more that 150 in a week.
  2. I bet there's more Bills fans than Oak fans there.
  3. do it. don't blink.. just do it.
  4. curtis
  5. I think posts like this one belong on the main board, at least for a while.
  6. Does anyone else think the shootouts are overkill? I like pretty much all of the rule changes/enforcement... except that blasted shootout. Its a gimmick and everybody knows it.
  7. How often do you think he hears random people scream out "MURDERER!" I'd consider doing it.
  8. Not us. One 1-3 start and 90% of the "fans" are ready to kill the GM, sell their season tickets, fire the coach, tar and feather the QB and buy the owner a casket. Well, maybe that is passion. It's certainly not the kind of passion I want to be involved in though.
  9. I just want to state, that I wanted the Bills to draft Matt Shaub instead of Losman. I bet there are many posts in the stadium wall archive where I said so. Not that I'm complaining about having Losman as a QB, I just don't think he was worth all of the picks we gave up for him, when Shaub could easily be had with a 3rd rounder. Well maybe I am complaining.
  10. unknown. stecker is hurt, antoine is old. i think if stecker was at %100 the saints would go with him, he did well last year for them, but he's not. stecker might or might not play this week. if he does he'll only split carries. i'd guess (and not garuntee it) antoine smith gets 15 carries this week, then next week chatman get the bulk of the carries. this is really just a stab in the dark though.
  11. GB's Tony Fisher is the only other option I can think of. No garuntees he'll start, but if Green keeps getting injusted, he'll help you out.
  12. is the Bus there, he might be a decent option also.
  13. Pick up Jesse Chatman, he looks to be the saints next starter. Though he'll probalby be useless to you for a week or two, he'll be worth it in the long run. Antoine Smith is a decent short term solution for just this week.
  14. tomcat do we give good advice around here, or do we give good advice around here?
  15. Hey there. Welcome to unending pain and torture as a Bills fan. You'll love every moment of it. You'll feel cheated at every turn by every ref and every NFL official. You'll feel pride for the Bills players and sorrow for them because they deserve to win and always fall just short. Try to make it to Buffalo for a game sometime. Nothing even comes close to that as an experience.
  16. I say Hasselback. Joe J is a decent option, and St. Louis has the worst secondary in football. You know that is going to be a high scoring affair.
  17. I don't know about you, but I'm a bills fan 1-15 or 15-1. I always told myself we'd still sell out games even if we pulled an Arizona. Maybe that is not so true.
  18. BackInDaDay = RJ
  19. Its happens on WGR also, and people I run into on the street. Everybody is just ripping on the Bills. I guess its ok to criticize. The other day I was listening to the radio and some guy was just cursing the day he bought season tickets, promising never to buy them again. Thats beyond critisizing, that becoming a fairweather fan. I always thought Bills fans were among the greatest in the NFL, but when things like that happen... well I guess I was wrong. DieHardFan.. like I said, it isn't just this forum, its Bills fans everywhere.
  20. Yeah I'm really starting to loath Bills fans. A little bit of adversity and they attack everyone. Its really disheartening to see the way we behave under pressure. Shameful to say the least.
  21. its good to know at least some bills fans are keep their head on straight.
  22. The worst part was he was the one complaining about Bledsoe at the end of last season. He was the one campaigning for the JP-era to begin. He has certainly changed his tune. He can do that though, but he better not be putting any blame on MM or the caches, because he thought the same thing that they did.
  23. And all the while the Texans/Lions/Redskins/49ers/Packers will all fade into oblivion. Not every first round QB is a homerun. I'm not saying JP is a flop either, but you can't tell me that you really think if we just mindlessly start him all year that he'll automatically be a stud next year. Sorry thats not how it works. Its a tough decision to make, and I as a Bills fan am suporting MM on whichever way he goes.
  24. Arrrgh. C'mon though after 4 games people are renouncing their love of the Bills, and cursing the day they ever bought season tickets. How am I supposed to be proud of Bills fans, and proud to be a member of that group when everyone bails out so easily. Its stupid and people need to stand by the team through thick and thin, and this is thin. Very thin.
  25. I agree, I'm really dissapointed at some of the fairweather-ness of a lot of Bills fans. get it together, when the team is losing, thats when we should be cheering the loudest.
