  1. You see 10.1 ypc, I see 80 catches and two bad QB's. Guess we are seeing different things.
  2. noo.... lets cut these guys. Daimon Shelton, $1,131,160 hit, $768,840 savings ($6,160 dead cap) Coy Wire - $706,160 hit, $600,000 savings ($56,160 dead) Ryan Neufeld, $672,826 hit, $510,000 savings ($90,000 dead) Joe Burns, $566,160, $538,840 savings ($6,160 dead) (If I'm understanding these numbers correctly) Extra cap room = $3,076,306 Total Savings = $2,417,680 Dead = $158,480 And we lose a bunch of crappy players that were not doing anything anyways. Mike Williams does need to be cut, but cutting Moulds is among the dumbest things this team could do. A pox upon you for wanting to cut him. We've been through the logic 1000 times. After cutting Moulds you have $4 Mil to replace Moulds and still benefit. Which then raises the question, can you find talent equal to Moulds for $4 mil. The answer is, of course, no. This does not even factor his team leadership, history with the Bills, and fan love for him.
  3. Oh crap, I missread the name of the post. I thought it said "Who do you want the Bills to release?" and so I voted for Mike Williams, and was all pissed that so many wanted Moulds released. Now I can't change my vote, and I'm happy people want Moulds to stay. I'm willing to bet the high amount of votes for Williams are the result of others making similar mistakes.
  4. wow, sfldave... I was never ever pro-holcomb, but never really anti holcomb either. I was of the "coaches know best" mindset. btu after this post I have to say that I might just be anti-holcomb now.
  5. I have the soundtrack to that movie also. Let me just says it one of the best soundtracks ever.
  6. Well, how about if I state that Pitts O-line is better than Atlanta's. .. and I state that Pitts Wided Recievers are better than Atlanta's. Thus Shaub has done well despite a worse line and lesser targets than Big Ben has. or are you going to argue at me how awesome Atlanta's offensive line is?
  7. Maybe I should state two opinions I have, or perhaps three... 1. Ben R is overated. He's not too bad, but surely he does not carry that team and depends on a very strong defense and running game, as well as the likes of Hines Ward, and a great o-line. 2. I still feel like Shaub can be a starter, and a good one at that. One on the level of Delhome, Hasselback, or Plummer. Atlanta recognizes the talent, since they have turned down a few trade offers for him. And even that teams want to trade for him says a lot. If we took him we'd have been able to strengthen many other areas of our team and still have agood QB. (perhaps the 3rd) I think Shaub is a better QB than Big Ben. At least if I was building a team I'd prefer Shaub over Ben.
  8. Roy Williams. I happen to think the guy is a freak without a good QB to go with him, his injuries scare me though. Larry Fitz is a great choice also. .. ok nm, I choose Eric Moulds. He's a freekin stud and has a lot of respect and can do a lot to help this team out.
  9. Odd.. I remember backreading.. guess I didn't do a very good job of it.I take comfort in knowing I wasn't alone. I clamored for the buy even before the draft took place, and I stand by it 3 years later.
  10. So.. uhm no one else thinks we should have gone with Shaub?
  11. CANT BELIEVE THIS HASN"T BEEN SAID?!?!! -Dont make any trades. Use The 2nd rounder on OL/DL. Then draft Matt Shaub in the 3rd round. -Keep Bledsoe around for one more year (as we did) then decide on Bledsoe, Shaub, or other as your QB depending on who has been playing the best. -Use 1st rounder from 2004 on something good also. (Better than Roscoe Parish and Kevin Everett at least).
  12. bleh... whatever they probably paid nothing for the guy.
  13. Someone should grade the drafts. I just don't know enough about these players, otherwise I would do it.
  14. He also mentioned how some of it is done just to make the agent look good and then a regular contract is renogtiated out of the public eye. He cited brunells contract at an example of this. Teams do a favor for the agent, then the agent does a favor for the team... the player gets screwed.
  15. wow, jason taylor = 11 mill hit zach thomas = 7 mil cap hit. thats a lot of money invested in two guys.
  16. Wow, that has to be the stupidest franchise ever. The Giants would not put up with Warner for more than a year, yet the Cards are handing this guy the keys to the city. I don't pity cards fans at all. There is no way the fans of Buffalo would let a QB like Warner get paid that much.
  17. 3 cheers for Marv.. bravo, bravo, bravo. Things Marv and TD do the same: Leave out lots of information. Things that Marv and TD do difference: Marv tells you why he is withholding information. TD talks like a little boy who just peed his pants and is afraid to admit it. Also its good that Howard and Marv get along. They were like old drinking buddies getting together to talk football.
  18. TEH Winnar!!!!111
  19. Panthers have Reggie White??? That doesn't count. When did he play for that team. It couldn't have been more than a year, and surely he isn't in the HOF because of his time spent there. I say its 3 teams long, Jags, Panthers, Ravens
  20. oh, cuz he only played in the afl?
  21. I like that better than Josh Reed, at least it has some humor value to it.
  22. There were a lot of people who wanted Lindy out. Maybe it wasn't 50%, but it was certainly the vocal majority. I remember a tiem when just about every caller to WGR and WNSA wanted Lindy gone. I thought every one of them were idiots, and still do. I'm glad Tom Galisano had the brains enough not to listen to those idiots.
  23. Hehe.. my blind-Bills-fan-homer confidence is kicking in again. Now that its the offseason and all.
