  1. Yep - I would draft him but I'm not the GM. When does he project to go in the draft?
  2. Davis should be the pick, he's the best wr in the draft. If we can get him a little lower, then by all means try to trade back a couple of spots
  3. Now we know why they didn't want Christie to help carpenter
  4. Could mean Wood might be a cap casualty. He was replaced nicely at center last year when he got hurt......
  5. Comp picks are based an signing salary levels. Meaning Gilmore signing for 14 per has a much bigger affect them all the 1m signings
  6. You're not paying him $4-$5m to be a backup
  7. then don't watch
  8. Best case scenario, though maybe not realistic: Cle trades 1-12 to buf for tyrod and buffalos 2nd Bill's draft Davis at 1-10 and mahones at 1-12 Bill's sign hoyer as a stopgap
  9. Davis is better. Williams had trouble creating separation in college which bodes badly for the NFL
  10. I'm a middle of the road Tyrod guy. He didn't progress year one to year two like I hoped but he was also throwing to street free agents and a hurt Sammy. Draft Davis Rd 1, hope Sammy is healthy and sign a NDA slot receiver and see what happens. Then draft a QB every year in Rd 3-5 until you find your Prescott of Wilson, because drafting one in Rd one has about a 15℅ chance of becoming a franchise qb and an 85℅ chance of being tyrod Taylor or worse. This draft is deep TE, I'd take one in the 2nd Rd if mahones is gone. Double down on O - get your RT, LB, CB and safety in UFA and draft one of those positions in Rd 3.
  11. Draft Davis, hopefully Watkins gets and stays healthy then see what we get from Tyrod. Wouldn't even be opposed to a TE in RD 2 (a lot of promising TEs in this draft), but that would entail shoring up the secondary and LB's via FA. Sammy FA Slot receiver TE Rd 2 Clay Davis Lattimore/Goodwin Tyrod Shady Looks really good to me
  12. Apparently you haven't ready the articles about multiple suitors for Tyrod if he's cut. $30m is irrelevant to the acquiring team, cap hit is what matters, which would be around $15m (if there's no re-structure involved).
  13. Also, doesn't mean they can't trade him if they fall in love with a QB in the draft and he's available at #10
  14. I thought the Miami comeback could have been a turning point for Tyrod but then Rex, his prevent defense and his late timeout on the 55 yd FG too over
  15. Good move. Draft Davis at #10 and Tyrod will look a lot better. Draft Mahones if he's there at 2-10, or grab Kelly in the 4th.
  16. Ideal would be to take Davis at 10 (he's better than Williams) and have mahomes last to #42. Why do you take mahomes at 10 if you sign cousins? I'd draft Davis at #10 and the best TE or safety at #42
  17. Great, so Whaley is staying..... Wonderful
  18. If Lynn becomes head coach, I think Tyrod stays. Will be interesting to see if cardale or Tyrod start now. Whaley should be the next that's shown the door. Imagine Bob Ryan and Rex's other cronies will be fir d today too. With 20 coaches, they can afford to fire a few anyway
  19. Those 2 missed calls were atrocious as was attempting to kick a 46 yd fg on 4th and 3, doing an end around to a guy that handnt played all game, having 10 guys on the field on the 57 yd run in OT and playing off the receivers in the last minute of the game. Where's this vaunted Rex d and our STs may be the worst in the league.
  20. Hire Lynn As the HC as long as he gets a stud DC. This is despite his all time stupid call of the end around to Bush. Moronic call. Btw, off if the top of my head these are the idiotic things Rex did just today; 1. 4th and 3 - don't go for it, instead attempt a 46 yd fg into the wind. Carpenter never is making that. 2. Coaches challenge on an obvious catch. 3. Allow for a 3rd 200 yd rusher against this year. This is a first in NFL HISTORY. 4. Prevent/zone coverage on the last drive of regulation. 5. Calls a time out after the ball is snapped on the field Fg 6. The bush end round - maybe not his fault but he is the HC 7. No balls ,- punts on 4th and 2 in OT 8. Not only has 10 men on the field on the 57 yd run in OT, but does the same on the Winning fg Players may love him but he's way too disorganized and has turned a #3 schwartz d into a joke
  21. I think trying to score a TD on 4th and goal was a bit more important than running out of bounds. Stupid argument there
  22. Absolutely stupid play call. Hideous. Throw the ball there or run up the gut - Miami was exhausted was getting gauged.
  23. Go for 4th and two or let a kicker who cant make extra points attempt a 46 yard ft in wind. What's the decision - is he that much of a fkn idiot?
  24. DC before HC = nice! Plus gilleslie (spelling) has looked very good when spelling Shady and, oh, a qb that runs for 600+ yards might have a LITTLE to do with the team being #1 in rushing.... A little. How many wrong statements can be made in one paragraph? Apparently at least 3.
