  1. Well you ARE wrong. Put the bong down and looks at the ratio of sacks to TD passes. Enough said. (nickname "Panama Red")
  2. OK. I gotta ask. Why do you think Shaw was better than Joe D?
  3. I think it is a curse I want to see Trubinski at the start of the 2nd half. It will save an accident against our starting QB,,,, give FA more reason to come here,,,,, and maybe give us a better FA comp pick.
  4. violent collusions hurt both players involved. was just waiting to happen. Let us see more of our back up QB the next 3 games. Raise his stock in a trade or FA release.
  5. Get a clue !!!!! AFTER losing last week for not finishing at the end of a game,,,,, Use your brain.
  6. Good to rest him against a team that we should beat without him. Trade deadline is Tuesday. I wonder if we move somebody for even a 6th round pick and put a CB on the active 40 or stash a good OG off of somebody's practice squad?
  7. We went light on DL numbers this past game and it looks like the plan was to stop the running game and have the fish try to win with their poor passing game. DE Hughes 62% Addison 58% Rousseau 45% Espensea 41% note that the these are very good at setting the edge DT Oliver 65% Star 51% Butler 43% Philips 35% Butler and Philips are beefier players and are better as gap setters. Zimmer, Bashmam and Obada did not get a sniff of the field and are the more mobile QB chasers. Partly best players for the scheme were used, as well as giving some guys a 2 week break to get very healthy and fresh legs for the rest of the season. Good management. I wonder who gets next week off?
  8. 2nd round pick and a backup guard for a good veteran guard. If we don't do this, we probably are going to use that second round pick on a guard, who will be rookie. a risk of a bust and not really up to speed until next year mid season.
  9. Wouldn't be nice to have a 260 pound fullback, who could get 7 yards a carry against dropping LB and scattered pass rushers, who were not protecting gaps? Could this guy be playing TE in college?https://walterfootball.com/draft2022TE.php
  10. Gilliam is 6-4 and 244 pounds. Kumero is 209 pounds. Tight ends are ususally > 240 pounds. Gilliam could line up in the backfield as a pass blocker or runner or then go to a position on the o line. A couple of options there.
  11. ...and increase their value in a trade qor in possible compensation if they leave as a FA. ALSO, quality FA's get extra motivation to come here to enhance their resume.
  12. I used to play for a club where the first team was the Simon Pures in the Buffalo Soccer club. We got hand me down jerseys. Played in the Buffalo city league, the W NY league and the Frontier league. Drank the beer too. Like this guy. We need more Italian names like his on the team.
  13. Those teams which have few wins are out of the playoffs. They can make their season by bringing an A game against the Bills and we will see their best and risky but high value-win plays.
  14. I have the same problem with young women when I go shopping at Walmart.
  15. Sorta like throwing a quarter of a bloody sheep into a back of wolves
  16. ...........Obada played 40 % of the defensive snaps. He had the 3rd most DE snaps on the team. All 6 DE played and had 33% or more of the snaps. ................. https://billswire.usatoday.com/lists/buffalo-bills-snap-counts-depth-chart-kansas-city-chiefs-2/
  17. I could see taking a good CB off a practice squad and stashing him to educate up to play next year. That is a way to continued success- Let other teams sift through the lower drafted players and cheery pick future contriubuters
  18. Another factor is that we have a bye the next week, but I am not sure how that will affect the scheme. Any ideas?
  19. We need some beefy players in reserve. Bellycheck does't have a competitve NFL team this year, so he has decided to see if he can win some games for now by running the ball down people's throats. Butler is the backup for Star and we might see him against NE.
  20. You would not get that. He was not a starter before and is not one now, unless it is on a team that is in the lower half of the league. I would go for a high 4th round pick, something like #10. If we pick at #30 (probably #32 now !) that would enable us to package our 3rd or 4th round pick and move up significantly Round 3-30 =====> Round 3-13 (+ 17 slots ) overall #97 ===> #77 or Round 4-30 =====> Round 3-29 (+31 slots) overall #126 ===>#93 Getting extra picks in the top 100 is good as that is where there is a fall off in the quality of the rookies. It might be that they are also showcasing him for a trade?
  21. ...and we might get some draft capital if they leave as FA's- but we probably would also be picking up enough good FA's who want to come here, so that would be a wash. BUT, we could win by trading off some older good veteran (Addison? Obada? Johnson (6th rouder)) who still have time on their contract. The sixth round pick for Johnson will help in the 2022 draft: (quote from an earlier post) m.
  22. I suspect that players who are on a top team and have a good chance to get to the SB, AND are getting real playing time,,, will be okay with staying another year. We don't need 6 Bruce Smiths or even 2 Bruce Smiths. That would be nice but a good player, who is fresh and playing against an exhausted o-line is going to be better in the 4th quarter than a tired Bruce playing against a not-exhausted o-line.
  23. Would KC agree with you? You should mention that we played a high % of teams with mobile QB's, so containment was relatively more important than sacks.
