  1. Haha this so absurd. Least likeable athlete in the past 30 years? Why because he cheated on his wife or abused pills after numerous surgeries? Or because he wasnt warm and Fuzzy (pun intended) with his co workers?
  2. Man that is a tough call on Jack's win vs Tiger's. I can't pick one over the other. Ali over Foreman might be #1 US hockey winning gold in Lake Placid Foreman winning the heavyweight title again against Michael Moorer Who doesn't root for these moments?
  3. Woods win is as inspiring/amazing as anything else we have ever seen in sports. You have to be a really miserable person to not feel anything positive for him today.
  4. This is my feeling too! So sweet If you want to be consistent with your judgement of others, you should throw away your television. The vast majority of athletes, politicians, actors, and actresses are banging everything they can.
  5. I don't talk to Pats fans enough to make a difference. Hating is something you enjoy with your own kind.
  6. It is way more fun to hate than be indifferent.
  7. Not a bad signing for the Pats. Jenkins is a veteran that has some red zone ability. This is a good under the radar move for them. On a side note: Gronk had a poor year receiving by his standards but he was still above average for the league. He also made a huge impact with his blocking in the run game. As hobbled as he was, the guy is irreplaceable. The catch he made in the Superbowl was everything in that game and I don't think many other TEs make that play.
  8. Christmas morning with your children. Hot shower after long day. Great song while driving in the summer with the windows down.
  9. Ricky Williams Marcus Allen
  10. Different era of football. Forget the yards for a second and tell me if you think Faulk was ever the guy that carried those Rams teams. As a Bills fan, I often felt that Thurman was the most important piece. I think the greatest show on turf was easily the most talented offense ever assembled. Faulk was awesome but his stats are inflated.
  11. I love Barry Sanders and I think he is an all time great. The North and South RBs are better imo. It's more demoralizing to have a guy like Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Earl Campbell, or Adrian Peterson run through you for 4 quarters. They control the entire game
  12. Wow I couldn't disagree more! I just said compared the two with work buddies last week. I made the same statement in reverse. Difference of opinion is all, both were outstanding.
  13. Adrian Peterson would be my choice. His combination of power, speed, and effort is second to no one.
  14. Raiders inevitable implosion is going to be glorious. The move to Vegas, Gruden, Carr, AB, Davis JR. and his hair cut......I can't wait. I started looking forward to this last year and I have a feeling the team is going to have issues deeper than wins and losses.
  15. I respectfully disagree with you on this. I'm not advocating they keep him if the allegations are true but he isn't replaceable. I think he is actually one of the least replaceable players in the NFL. I can't think of a single other player with his level of separation. Too bad he can't keep his hands off people I wonder how much cooperation the police get at this point. $$$ can change people's memories and muck up investigations. The scramble to mask the truth has to be in motion right now.
  16. The shooter was surprisingly calm and smooth in that video. It looked exactly like a first person shooter game. Unfortunately no end in sight to this stuff.
  17. I was a kid in the late 80s - early 90s and spent insane amounts of time outside. Like many posters have already said it was a sun up until sun down routine. We could literally be anywhere too. My parents wouldn't have been able to find us if they tried. Whether it was the train tracks, or any number of woods, or a bike ride into town .....we were gone. Honestly we wanted nothing more than to be away from our parents. Now I am the parent of 3 kids and I can't imagine letting them do anything like that. They love going outside and they can go to friends houses in the neighborhood but nothing like we did. I would say that they are on the high end of outside time for their peers. I would lose it if they rode their bikes to the next town over though. I honestly think I had too much wiggle room as a kid but it was all the kids in the neighborhood. Huge packs of us and that doesn't exist too much anymore.
  18. Clay was here for 4 years but it feels like he was a part of every loss in the last ten. Nice guy by all accounts and talented. Unfortunately timing is everything and his was atrocious here.
  19. The judicial system failed society again and MSU is just another example of college athletics being a cesspool. MSU was convinced he was safe to put on campus with other college kids because they spoke with his family and friends? They seem like a credible source for his mental and moral upswing over the last few seasons. College football is the biggest problem. They are far more corrupt and disgusting than the NFL.
  20. I would love Harris. He has had limited opportunities because he is stuck behind the best TE in the league. The production has been there when given the chance and he is a solid blocker as well. Hes a huge target and has flashed ability in the redzone. This would be a great start for helping Allen.
  21. The fact that no one supposedly saw the video is strange to me. The police claim they didn't review it because it was a misdemeanor. Really? They can't be bothered to fact check and watch the video for 5 minutes? The NFL conducted an investigation that didn't include an interview with Hunt or the woman. Sounds like they were really interested in what happened. The Chiefs reportedly had a conversation with Hunt about whether charges were filed and then it was a dead issue. No one cared until the video surfaced and then the spinning begins.
  22. Honestly I find it hard to believe that the NFL, Chiefs, and police were so in the dark on what happened. If they were in the dark it was because they wanted to be. I doubt some kid totally fooled everyone.
  23. That guy was unbelievable. RIP
  24. Crazy is too hot. Counseling should start with escape plan training.
  25. I would do my homework on Hunt. I think he looked a little too comfortable resorting to violence. With that being said, people can change. If I was convinced that Hunt was going to work on the issues, yes I'd sign him.
