I can't see Eli playing beyond this season. Dak isn't a very good starting QB either. Those two teams are going to be all over the qb market this off-season imo.

Peterman had a very embarrassing career in Buffalo. He was the butt of jokes across many national media outlets. A small classless group of his own "fans" tried to put together funding for a billboard that called for his firing. It doesn't make alot of sense to compare him to the releasing of Torrell Troupe. I also see alot of posters and fans express sympathy/good luck to most players who get traded or cut. I don't understand why anyone would have an issue with sympathy towards another person. Then again your chosen screen name says alot, as does the dozen or so replies in this thread. I guess you could be trolling, which is a pathetic way to get your kicks or you are a nitwit. His QB is at the tail end of his career. I don't think that is much of statement. It's sad that we can't even be critical of a black players behavior without the race police drumming up the same nonsensical points. Buffalo is racist, Adam thielen slammed his helmet, blah blah blah. OBJ also was quoted as saying that he doesn't even feel like coming out of the locker room this year to play. That was after 4 games and a massive contract reward a couple months ago. You guys can have him.

I can understand the frustration but professionalism should be expected. OBJ needs the attention in good times and bad. He acts like child on the sidelines. It's not the type of character that helps anyone in a Giants uniform. Look at Larry Fitzgerald's career. That's a HOF reaume

He's had his incidents off the field. Some of which are being investigated currently. He's called out teammates in the media. He recorded his coach in the locker room and put it on social media. He's not a great guy by any means.

Owens was a much better player than OBJ. The Giants are going to really regret that contract. I am one of the few that think guys like OBJ and Antonio Brown aren't worth it. I would only give massive contracts to talent + character. I see people argue talent or character all the time but it's a pointless debate. Neither are worth anything without the other.

I think we take some bad beatings this year. I like some of our young players and have some hope for Allen. My biggest concern is not this year's record but the way we might get demoralized. I really think it could be that bad.

He is/was talented but he has flushed it all away. The guy has serious life issues and also was locker room headache with the Steelers. At this point his career is virtually over.
