“Allen recently had a private workout for the Buffalo Bills and has another scheduled with the Jets in early April.”

Lol, I think you are misunderstanding my point.
i don’t know who the bills have as their top prospect, I just think they have given Allen as many shakes as the others.
Yes, but that is probably partly due to their being few to no other NFL prospects at Wyoming or their opponents.
not saying the bills are gonna draft him, but I think he has gotten a pretty good look from the Bills.
Yea but they met with him at senior bowl, combine and did a private workout with him. I’d say he has had just about the same amount of time from the Bills as the others.
I don’t get those comparisons. He is closer to Locker than Boller because Locker also had that baseball overstriding thing when he threw (before he retired early, Locker looked like he was turning a corner). He is way better than Boller ever was in college (check the stats), don’t see the similarities except for their stature.
I think his best comparison is a less experienced Jay Cutler. Dragged a bad team through its conference with a huge arm and good athleticism. Less than 60% career completion percentage.
If Cutler wasn’t such a prick he may have been a really great QB too.
Did you know that Wyoming won 8 games in back to back seasons for the first time since 87 and 88?
Did you know that Wyoming had won 6 games combined in the two years with coach Bohl before Josh Allen?
Did you know that when Josh Allen got injured during the season, Wyoming lost to San Jose St? That is the same San Jose St. team whose only other win that year was against a D-2 school?
Allen is not perfect, but he was pretty integral to Wyoming not winding up a bottoms feeder in the conference imo. And he made the one coach in college that didn’t pass on him look pretty smart.
1. There will be 4 first round QBs, only 2 will go in the top 5.
2. Mason Rudolph will be the 7th QB off the board behind Lauletta and Jackson.
3. Marcus Davenport will go before Saquan Barkley.
4. Shaquem Griffin will be drafted in the second round.
5. Leighton Vander Esch will be drafted before Roquan Smith, and will be considered a bust in an average career.
Maybe not, I think you’ll be surprised.
They have comparable arm strength, size, starting experience. Teams are going to like Lauletta’s intangibles as a leader better and love that he doesn’t come from an air raid system.
Bet he is the 7th QB off the board behind Jackson and Lauletta, 2nd to 3rd rounder probably.
Fans tend to push all QBs further up boards than NFL teams do. People were talking about Peterman in the 2nd last year.
No problem! Not a ton of Allen fanboys on the board compared to the other QBs so I think it slipped through the cracks. I had posted it once before, but I saw this article didn’t have the private workout listed so thought I would contribute.
Still think Maybin is a bigger bust than EJ. Drafted earlier in the draft order, never registered a sack as a Bill.
Watkins is probably number 1 bc 2 first round picks even tho he was decent when healthy.
I think Rudolph is gonna surprise a lot of people with a slide in the draft. Don’t even think he will be the 6th QB taken. Lauletta will probably go before him.
Interesting coming from Jeremy. Would be pumped to get Baker without losing a ton of picks to move up. Can’t wait for the draft to just get here already.
Can’t wait to see Allen’s pro day, as a football fan. If he keeps showing better feet and improved accuracy, a lot of teams are going to want to take a shot on him.
