Getting the one seed would be a huge advantage with one less game to play. But our chances do seem long with the games we blew so far. But if we got the two seed and only had to go to Nashville to get to the Super Bowl, I wouldn’t be too worried about it. We should have beaten the Titans last time and I don’t think we miss out this time of it comes to it.

Honestly, based on the fine, totally worth it for the Packers to keep Aaron happy and totally worth it for Aaron to gamble on not getting caught while avoiding all the nagging questions about his bad status. Pretty much a joke. But the NFL has been ridiculous all year and especially the last few weeks.

Bobby Johnson: The Source of O-Line Issues (in my opinion)
LEBills replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree we need a new OL coach, the talent is not amazing but should be more serviceable than this -
Darnell Mooney is real good

NFLs tainting rule is just a workaround to help the team they want to win What an absolute joke of a call and it has been all year

Josh does need to settle for the smaller plays sometimes. However this was a total offensive side of the ball loss. From terrible blocking, to uninspired play calls, to average running, to drops and fumbles out of bounds. And of course, Joshs turnovers. Plenty of things need to change and Josh needs a lot more help.

Like all games, it’s a team loss. Certainly the offense was the bigger issue than the defense but they had their fair share of (questionable) penalties too. Now the play calling was awful, and Josh had no time to throw without someone in his face. This made Josh press to create something and it led to him having three turnovers. Without those turnovers we probably win. Without constant pressure on Josh we probably win. If we could run the ball at all to punish the Jags for the defensive schemes they were throwing at us, we probably win. Im about as big a Josh fan as their is but his play was a big reason for the loss today. But he is also the reason we have won so much recently. So it will be ok, I still trust Josh and the Bills to get things right going forward.

I still think we can beat any team we want to talent wise which is the good news. But we are not doing well from an offensive coaching perspective and a few injuries to the OLine has shown how below average we are as a unit there. We had a few rough games in the middle of last season too but their is still half a season left to rebound from this embarrassment. And I think we will.

11/7/21 Bills @ Jaguars Postgame Thread
LEBills replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Offensive line is a big problem for us and the offense was discombobulated from it. Josh started trying to do a little too much and had turnovers. Refs were a huge issue today for both teams must moreso for us. -
Breaking News: Odell Beckham is set to be released
LEBills replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall
He hated Cleveland the city so I don’t think he would be that into another Midwestern city like Buffalo, KC, or Green Bay though a chance to win probably helps. Get ready to see him sign with one of the LA teams, Arizona, LV or New Orleans assuming he clears waivers. -
Jets hire John Beck as FT assistant (Wilson’s personal QB coach)
LEBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Man the kids inner circle is 100% BYU huh? I remember the Bills playing against John Beck…good times -
Chris Lindstrom, OG, Falcons, should be the target.
LEBills replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nothing, but don’t think Beane would take a guard that high or trade a first for one. -
Chris Lindstrom, OG, Falcons, should be the target.
LEBills replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
Being a former first rounder, I don’t think we could get him for anything less than that and I don’t think Beane wants to allocate that type of resource towards a guard no matter how bad of an upgrade we need at that position. -
Oh so giving a running back 35 carries a game got him injured, who would have thought Vrabel is a genius

Bills Classless Again [Edit: FinHeaven message board]
LEBills replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think ya going for two was just a result of the Dolphins going for two (when most teams would have went for one) and getting it earlier. The Bills wanted to be up 17 rather than 15. McDermott certainly isn’t classless. Josh gets emotional and I get opponents not liking it when they are on the losing side. In the end the phins are starting to feel like we did with the Pats**** all those years where the gap between teams and especially quarterbacks are so enormous. So nothing left to do but criticize how the Bills win. -
The “math” of going for 2 makes no sense
LEBills replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, cutting it to a 6 point game is nice but miss and now you have to get a two point conversion. Flores is not a good coach so maybe in a vacuum the math made sense but in context it was stupid. Didn’t matter either way because the math said we were a better team. -

Colts game is on in North Dakota because of Wentz too -
I can confirm it is a great place to watch a Bills game. When so was living in out there, it’s a pretty transient place so you got a lot of Western New Yorkers. Was there for the opening day overtime win over the Bears in 2014 and it was a blast. Can only imagine it’s rocking there this year.

Their best DLine player and second best cornerback. Things are easier for our passing offense if weather allows -
What they thought in 2017 of McD hire
LEBills replied to Ed_Formerly_of_Roch's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was completely wrong on McD. I wanted an offensive minded coach back then and was disappointed with another Defensive coach. I even had some doubts about him in 2018 because I loved Josh as a prospect but I thought he (and Beane) handled the QB position terribly (starting Peterman, not having an experienced QB room until midway through the season) But he has really been great and he has improved in the nuances of coaching. Glad to be very wrong and excited for the next several years with him and Josh -

Now I like this -
If our OLine whips the Chiefs DLine, this game will be a blow out for us. It will only be his second start, but the physicality that Spencer Brown has shown so far is something we didn’t see last year. Its a lot to ask of a rookie 3rd rounder and he will be challenged but if he punishes whatever defender he is assigned to, that is going to go a big way in our winning.
