Would take Duncan, Joseph or Ricks out of that list

Some insight on Bills first round and how it went down
LEBills replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I normally like trading back but Kincaid was too good to pass and I don’t think my blood pressure could handle another third round pick haha -
I wouldn’t mind either. The mystery of Iosiovas is intriguing. I think Jarret is probably more of a speed slot than a future Diggs but if we get him that is what I will hope for lol
-
Unfortunately, Beane is just an average GM when it comes to talent evaluation. He is better at the cap management but that is getting harder with Josh being expensive. All teams miss on pick, and Beane’s first rounders have been solid, but since 2019 the only player selects by the Bills who has gone to the pro bowl (a much lower achievement than in earlier times) is Wyatt Teller with the Browns. That’s just not good enough to compete long term unfortunately.

The Battle of a lifetime: Klein, Spector, Dodson, Bernard, Williams
LEBills replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
In his March press conference, Beane said: "We'll keep Matt where he's at," Beane said during a news conference at One Bills Drive that centered on introducing the team's three new free agent additions to the Western New York media. "We'll just let there be competition for that middle linebacker." If they are desperate enough at any point during the season maybe they change their tune. -
Going to feel extra long today and many on the list will be gone. A couple of role players that we could use Field stretching receiver: Tyler Scott is the best player left for that role Andrei Iosiovas Trey Palmer Rakim Jarrett Xavier Smith Swing Tackle: Jaelyn Duncan Blake Freelan Trevor Reid Earl Bostick Carter Warren Run stuffing DT: Cameron Young Keondre Coburn CB has the most potential starters left: Kelee Ringo, Darius Rush, Terrell Smith, Clark Phillips, Jakorian Bennett, Kyu Blu Kelly, Eli Ricks, Slot corners: Trevous Hodges Tomlinson, keitrel clark Honestly I would be ok with both of our remaining picks being CB, there is so much depth left there. Move Benford fully to safety. Top guys left could easily challenge Dane for CB3 if they fall to us

yup. Bernard was certainly McDermotts pick last year. And now that Tremaine is gone it was probably his pick again. At least he waited until the third round to put Beane in a chokehold for defensive players, normally that starts the first night. Like the draft as a whole, but this was dissappointing and makes it feel more and more like we have no plan when it comes to drafting.
-
lol I don’t really understand the point you are trying to make. Henley and Simpson are also small but better players that were reasonable to draft in the third. Overshown and Williams are also small and their skills would have been reasonable in the 5th round. but that is just my opinion from what I do pre-draft. I hope I am wrong and he is awesome
-
got to get third round back ups and special teamers at undervalued positions. 4 RB and LB in the third round the last 5 years. Two off the team and two backups
-
Nah I thought Henley and Simpson were significantly better. He was similar to Overshown who is not a third round player either imo
-
Lots of players get through college and then go wild in the NFL. College is a much more controlled environment. I would be hopeful if we took him and would like the positional value but don’t like giving up future picks, especially since we use our fourth rounders to move up in round 1 lol
-
Beane gets paid to make draft picks I don’t, but is he meant to replace last years third round linebacker? Also he just isn’t that great of a linebacker. Good highlights but down to down he is too small and misses his gaps too often. Imo
-
I’m not going to disagree with you because I’m afraid that will make it happen haha
-
second annual silly third round linebacker pick
-
lol right again, doesn’t mean I have to like it 😈
-
good player, excellent against the run, rotation player
-
I would be surprised
-
No LB left this round. Hoping for Tyler Scott or AT Perry, but guessing it will be Clark Phillips (who admittedly is also really good)
-
AT Perry is awesome. Tyler Scott is lesser know Jalen Hyatt. But starting to get thin
-
Reportedly he got flagged for medicals by some teams (as well as some character concerns) so may fall further than expected
-
just a joke my friend
-
Belichick loves D2 linebackers
-
Wow that Tennessee offense is dropping both their WRs. I’ll take either in round 3
-
He also played with Richardson last year so he has experience blocking for a QB that extends the play
