Holy.....

What the....O'Reilly discussed it for 15 min then moved on, and Fox News isn't showing the numbers coming in????
Switched to Olbermann who went of on a tirade calling Brown outrageous names....
Then switched to CNN who's doing a good job covering it.

I think you missed the word broadband in my post... I obviously have DirecTV for television, but have Comcast for internet -- DSL wasn't available in my area when I first moved in.
Ha...ok.
Know what's been bothering me recently, on the guide the channels go downward, but on tv channels go up. So when you're looking through the guide you're pressing down to go up in channels.

They said they wanted a HC that can groom QBs, you can bet they draft a QB early.

"Instead, says Luntz, they’re ashamed. “They don’t want to be on television defending Martha Coakley. It’s passé. It’s socially unacceptable. I never dreamed I’d see Democrats in Massachusetts embarrassed to admit they’re Democrats.”

I take that back... Comcast just raised my broadband bill by $2.72/month.
You don't have DirecTV???

high school coaches don't county Buddy.

I asked Mort via Twitter if the Bills turned him down:
mortreport
@MattKabel He definitely did not turn down Bills. He wasn't offered. And league rules wouldn't allow that to happen but they wanted HC experience

I worked at the top orthopedic hospital for 5 years, its amazing what they can do today. I remember a surgeon once telling me a bone break is better than tearing a muscle, the bone will often grow back stronger.

Interesting. Nix and Gailey. Good ol'fashoined football lifers getting ready to raise up a tough team like back in the day. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt I suppose. What will come next will be some good ol'fashioned coordinators too. Tough kick some as* older dudes that have scars they forgot about and who knows? Something might come of it. Strange days..
I don't know why, but I pictured the old guy from Pet Cemetery saying that.

What happened:
Starts with Ralph.....
No respectable GM wants to work for Ralph, so they promote Smithers/Nix internally....
No respectable coach wants to work for Smithers/Nix, so Bills are forced to hire Chan Gailey....
Will it continue to trickle down?
Will no respectable players want to play for Gailey....
And will no fans want to watch the players that Gailey has?
Starts at the top, and trickles down to us, the fans....

Belichek Ryan and Sparano are shaking in their boots...SHAKING!!!!
I have to laugh, otherwise I'd cry.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! This organization has finally hit rock bottom!
-
No mention of the movie We Are Marshall.
At the bottom they do.

That would be hilarious if somebody in Buffalo put up Help Wanted signs for the Bills in grocery stores and things.

Ugh...I just had ESPN radio on and in the hard news section, they referred to Sanchez as "Sanchize", a nickname for him in NYC. To me, that's unprofessional. That belongs in commentary, not news.

I'm hoping the Cowboys win so we can hire Leslie Frazier on MLK Day and say he was the guy we wanted all along. \
That is Brandon to a "t"
-
Remember when the news broke that the Bills had their guy for the HC position?
Now I get it, that was put out there by Brandon/OBD so that if the coaching search went south (like it is) then once they hired somebody they could point to that statement and say "This was our guy all along."
Basically, that was a CYA statement, and there is no "guy" that they have in mind....
Our Front Office is run by a salesman folks, this is the stuff they do and what we can expect.
-
This is exactly what Joe D has been fighting for, and rightly so.
-
This isn't especially embarrassing. It's pretty much how coaching searches look. Some guys turn you down, especially if you're a fairly bad team with no QB and a draft pick outside the top 5. If there were 11 teams scrambling for coaches the way there were last year, we would have seen that a lot of teams have this kind of search.
Coordinators turn down jobs, not interviews.
This is especially embarrassing.

I hope he marched into Brandon's office and told him to go F himself when he found out Fewell was named Interm Coach and not him.
April's the best coach we had this decade, I wish him the best.

Any other awesome people with DirecTV enjoying free Starz this weekend?
Actually, I had Starz for free for 3 months in early fall, and they're playing all the same movies.

"We'd like to introduce you to Leslie Frazier, the man we targeted all along" - Russ Brandon, near future.
