  1. I think you missed the word broadband in my post... I obviously have DirecTV for television, but have Comcast for internet -- DSL wasn't available in my area when I first moved in.

    Ha...ok.

Know what's been bothering me recently, on the guide the channels go downward, but on tv channels go up. So when you're looking through the guide you're pressing down to go up in channels.

  2. Interesting. Nix and Gailey. Good ol'fashoined football lifers getting ready to raise up a tough team like back in the day. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt I suppose. What will come next will be some good ol'fashioned coordinators too. Tough kick some as* older dudes that have scars they forgot about and who knows? Something might come of it. Strange days..

I don't know why, but I pictured the old guy from Pet Cemetery saying that.

  3. What happened:

    Starts with Ralph.....

No respectable GM wants to work for Ralph, so they promote Smithers/Nix internally....

No respectable coach wants to work for Smithers/Nix, so Bills are forced to hire Chan Gailey....

Will it continue to trickle down?

Will no respectable players want to play for Gailey....

And will no fans want to watch the players that Gailey has?

Starts at the top, and trickles down to us, the fans....

  4. Remember when the news broke that the Bills had their guy for the HC position?

Now I get it, that was put out there by Brandon/OBD so that if the coaching search went south (like it is) then once they hired somebody they could point to that statement and say "This was our guy all along."

Basically, that was a CYA statement, and there is no "guy" that they have in mind....

Our Front Office is run by a salesman folks, this is the stuff they do and what we can expect.

  5. This isn't especially embarrassing. It's pretty much how coaching searches look. Some guys turn you down, especially if you're a fairly bad team with no QB and a draft pick outside the top 5. If there were 11 teams scrambling for coaches the way there were last year, we would have seen that a lot of teams have this kind of search.

Coordinators turn down jobs, not interviews.

    This is especially embarrassing.
