  1. I'm drinking Tang right now for the first time. How do you feel about that?
  2. I want Willis to truly earn it, not have it handed to him.
  3. August 15th, 2003. We were supposed to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge and have dinner at a restuarant under it. Except that the day before was THE Northeast blackout...so we ended up just going for a walk along the river...
  4. If we can't get Nuge...I'd love Christie. Not because he's an ex Bill, but because he's a clutch kicker and is a proven kicker in Buffalo's weather.
  5. That's not what I asked. I asked about in 4 consecutive seasons.
  6. Which is more embarrassing for 4 straight seasons? Bills 0-4 Super Bowls Eagles 1-3 NFC Championships, 0-1 Super Bowl
  7. I see nothing wrong with any of this. He is one of the greatest presidents of our time, and he should have things named after him. He won the cold war for crying out loud.
  8. The fact that there is NO INFORMATION ON BUFFALO in the tourism section of the Clarence rest stop on the I-90 outside of Buffalo kills me. I was in there before the Steelers game and the tourism section was PACKED...and all they had was info on Niagara Falls!
  9. McDonald's (MCD) the company today announced a new sandwich. It is called the "McNabb." After you pay for it, the clerk either throws it on the floor two feet away from you, or into the hands of the guy behind you in line.
  10. They're trying to cover up the fact that they threw the game.
  11. Yup...she was angry that she couldn't have an "o" and went to a doctor. The doctor looks down her throat and informs her that her clitois is located at the bottom of her throat. He informs her that in order for her to have an "o", she has to "deep throat" guys....and of course he shows her how its done. After that, she tries it out on other guys. It's a very moving story...
  12. OH THANK GOD!!!! I'm so happy that CNN decided to use the space to promote the new Karate Kid DVD instead of reporting on the meaningful story above!!! http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/Movies/02/...chio/index.html
  13. I like that Fox News let's me decide.
  14. Same article as my last post Fighting Back Iraqi police are investigating an election incident at a small Iraqi village south of Baghdad. The villagers, a mix of Shia (search) and Sunni Muslim (search) turned out in large numbers to vote in Sunday’s election, even though insurgents threatened voters with violence. The Australian Broadcasting Company (search) reports that when the insurgents returned to make good on their threats, they got a nasty surprise. The residents fought back, killing five insurgents and wounding eight, then burning the insurgents’ car. Australian broadcast reporter Mark Willesy concludes, "The people of that village have certainly had enough of the insurgents."
  15. What was supposed to have been a simple resolution, honoring President Reagan’s birthday, passed the state Senate in Minnesota this week, but only after Democrats insisted the bill be rewritten to include the fact that Reagan never won in that state. Democrats would only accept the line referring to the unprecedented economic expansion and opportunity of the Reagan years, if a line was added saying that it was, "not paralleled until the Clinton presidency." Democrats also insisted on saying the current administration should learn in Reagan the, "need for world support in foreign initiatives." Republican Senator Dave Clice (search) said the bill was just supposed to be a simple little happy birthday, but it turned out to be an argument over the last 25 years of politics. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,146612,00.html
  16. I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about...no way was Paul lip-syncing. I thought it was a great performance. That show with ONE QUALITY SINGER blew AWAY every halftime show of the last 15 years hands down.
  17. I was actually thinking the same thing. If you looked at the throw on that interception...it was almost like a lob right to him....
  18. I'll root for anybody but Tom Brady and the Patriots who the media have a love affair with.
  19. I'm reading Marv Levy's book and I'm on the page where he's finally hired by the Bills. It's interesting to read how he has built so many teams from nothing, and INVENTED special..err..kicking teams! A lot of lessons jump out at me through his experiences. The one that I think is most fitting for the current Bills is about his QB controversy in Kansas City. Marv was talked into drafting QB Steve Fuller in the first round of one of the Chief's drafts. It actually came about the same way that we took Losman, as they had to trade to get back into the first round to get him (side note is that Levy wanted to draft Joe Montana in the 2nd round.) Levy wanted to have him sit for a year or two so he could learn the game and be called upon when ready. However, the owner and "GM" wanted him played asap as they didn't want a first rounder on the bench. Levy was forced to play him earlier than expected, and of course he didn't produce. Over the years, he never reached his full potential because he simply wasn't ready. Levy says over and over again that a QB should not be started until he is ready. To do so early is almost guaranteed to ruin his career. That said, I want Bledsoe out of here. He has proven that he can NOT win the big games here. We are in the best division in football, and can't afford his liability (yes, he is a MASSIVE liability because he tries to do too much, instead of maintaing a game) any longer. I also don't want him as a backup, simply because he can't manage a game anymore. However, I only want JP to start IF HE IS READY. We have what may be the best QB experts in the NFL that can make that call. If he is ready, then he's ready and let's sign a veteran backup that can come in and manage a game, NOT a veteran who will be a liability (Bledsoe, Carter, etc) If he's not ready, then sign a veteran to a 2 year deal. Maybe Brad Johnson? I don't know, I'm sure you all know more about what veteran qb's are out there.
  20. They should have the Stones do it next year....THAT would be awesome!
