When Favre was signed, all the local sports talkshows and nuts said anything less than a Super Bowl was unacceptable. "We could make the playoffs with Pennington, with Favre it has to be a Super Bowl Ring" Mangini had no chance, I knew he'd be gone after this season no matter yet. The Bills have low expectations, where as the NY/NJ teams have way too high of them.

We are about to witness the most sickening undertaking of a PR spin we have ever seen. Russ Brandon is going to put Tom Donahoe's efforts (ie:RJ visiting sick kids in the hospital) to complete shame. This is going to get ugly, and I don't think OBD knows what they're up against. 9 years without playoffs isn't going to be forgotten and I don't think there is much they can do to win fans back next season with Jauron besides winning games. I just don't think I can take an entire offseason of Brandon's BS. EDIT - I can't believe it, but the mistrust by fans of OBD may exceed the TD era this off season. How can we believe a word that comes out of there when they showed today they aren't committed to winning?

Just to clarify my original post, I don't think TE is anywhere near bust, but I have seen articles and posts saying this season was a huge waste because we didn't find anything out about TE this year. If he can play this well next week, he's easily the starter next year. Guess we have something to actually watch for in the last game! PS - just saw this in Sully's columnt today "Edwards played in frigid conditions, in the second-coldest home game in Denver history. " NOW THAT IS IMPRESSIVE.
