  1. When asked if he still keeps in touch with Scott Norwood, the kicker who missed what would have been the winning field goal in Super Bowl XXV, Thomas replied "Who?" OUCH!
  2. Invested the 8th overall pick on Whitner and the Bills FO has done nothing to get a solid FS in there to support him. What a joke.
  3. So was Dockery. Don't give the Bills your money til they shell out some cash to make this team better. If you HAVE to buy something, get a keychain.
  4. True, that has been documented, but it has not been documented on why he is likely turning down the Bills. The Dolphins ended up not being interested, but when it was reported they were and offered less money than the Bills, it was reported he would likely go to the Phins. Hence, its not just about money, he likely doesn't want to go to Buffalo.
  5. How embarrassing for the Bills FO (and us fans) that the Bills went after Coles and he doesn't want to sign there, even going to visit the Bengals. Shows how far we've fallen this decade.
  6. He clearly doesn't want to be a Bill, they should pull back on the offer and look elsewhere ASAP. We NEED a #2 in Free Agency....more than we need Greer back.
  7. This is the blog that just keeps on giving: http://www.buffalorumblings.com/
  8. If not Coles, the Bills need to sign Peters ASAP to find out how much money they have and trade for somebody. #2 WR is the one position we NEED to fill that can't be filled via the draft.
  9. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/ Dave Hutchinson of the Newark Star-Ledger is reporting that the Bills are the team pursuing WR Laveranues Coles hardest. Hutchinson also mentions that two teams thought to be interested in bidding on Coles' services, the Dolphins and Browns, have already dropped out of the running. Teams like Cincinnati may enter the bidding (depending on what happens today with T.J. Houshmandzadeh), but right now, it's "Buffalo or wait" for Coles. The Bills, however, are playing their cards correctly on this. Obviously the team wants him here, but they're not going to leave an offer dangling out there forever so that Coles can use it as leverage if a new team enters the bidding. We felt sure, and it was confirmed to us by a source close to the team, that the Bills have an end date on their offer to Coles. They'll pull the offer and move on before getting into a bidding war with him, and that's the smart play. It's on Coles' shoulders from here. Hopefully, we'll know something by day's end, but for now, we'll dub Mr. Coles "Panda II".
  10. "Work hard at training camp? Hahaha" "Don't worry, if you underachieve you might just get a contract extension anyways." "COACH Lester? HAHAHAHAHA!!! Hey Chuck, wash this towel!" "We've got an Applebees" "Uhhhh...about 10 years ago?" "It's ok, nobody listens to Turk anyways" "Shh...that's JP, nobody wants him and he keeps following us, speed up a bit won't you" "That noise? It's just Mr. Wilson counting his money, bout all he does nowadays when not napping." "Oh...he's crying because he has to market this team" "You saw pictures of guys in Trent's locker?" "We get Sundays off here"
  11. Who AREN'T the pats interested in?
  12. Thanks Tim! I guess I can stop checking the news every 5 min until tomorrow.
  13. I have a strange feeling there's going to be an investigation into this.
  14. Looks like we signed another JP: http://www.buffalorumblings.com/
  15. He would have drafted a 5 ft 9 inch receiver with his first pick.....
  16. Fowler was smart too, was a great chess player and his parents went to every game. I don't want smart, I want a guy that will plow over a nose tackle and go after their parents right after.
  17. I still say, fill the seats and root for the players we DO have...but don't spend any money while you're there.
