  1. The Meadowland website says that the lots open at 11:05. HERE is the link. If you find out that they open up sooner for sure, please let us know.

There are no set rules for opening the parking lots. The lot will open

at 9:00am on Sunday even though the game is at 4:00pm.

Even though it's a 4pm game? I thought the rules prevented that?

  2. I remember my fiance forwarding me an email saying that Bush is trying to start a mandatory draft of all Americans between 18-26. I'm 25, so she was all nervous. The email was supposed to turn that age group against Bush

    Well well well...look who's responcible:

The bills have lain dormant for nearly two years, but e-mails widely circulated on college campuses, which claimed that the Bush administration was trying to secretly revive the draft, prompted House Republicans to quash the issue by calling for a vote.

"Clearly these bills are filed not by Republicans, not on behalf of the administration, but by those who are being partisan Democrats about this and trying to scare people," said Sen. John Cornyn (search), R-Texas.

  3. do not watch the armstrong video

it is even worse, if you can believe it

video is clearer, sound is clearer and the sick bastards take a whole minute sawing through his head...the screams and gurgles are haunting...the emotions rushing through my body and even now thinking about it are horrible

no one should have to die like that

I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

But I agree that we should never stoop to that level. They guy was a civilian for crying out loud.

  4. Has anybody else seen this? and HEARD it?

My brother was living in Europe when 9-11 happened. He said everybody over there thought that the US was going to lose its mind and nuke the entire Mid-East.

After seeing this video..now I see why.

  5. I just saw the video of the Armstrong beheading. It was the most merci-LESS thing I have ever witnessed. These terrorists are animals. Working at a hospital, I've seen some things that churned my stomach, but this is the worst thing I've ever seen and is still sending chills up my back. Words can't express the inhumanity of it.

  6. Just wanted to start an official thread for the tailgate. Last year we had over 200 Bills fans there and from a plane you could probably see the row of red, white, and blue amongst all that green considering that we took up an entire ROW of the lot.

Due to the new NFL tailgating rules, we're going to meet in Lot 16C at noon. We have a free round-trip bus going from the city to the game. We will have 4 kegs of Labatt Blue with a simple ice/bucket/tap setup to ensure quick pouring. We'll have lots of grill space available.

I have a member trying to sell one ticket for $95 on the lower level next to a Bills fan for this SOLD-OUT game, which if you look on ebay, is a cheap price!

We're going to have Michael Bly, an up and coming musician from Buffalo performing and taking requests.

Also, here is what Kenny "Pinto Ron" emailed me last week:

"I am not receiving the new van for 4 more weeks, but given that I have the current one running a lot better, I am going to take a chance and bring it to the Jets game. It has 252,000 miles on it, what is 700 more? It will be essentially packed with everything that is normally found at the pinto tailgate minus the pinto itself. The van has an awning, and in the event of rain I have 4 canopies available. The bar will be there, along with 8 bar stools. I can supply some tables and a large grill. If it looks like it will be cold, I can have firewood available with a wood stove and a "mini" burn barrow (I don't know how far we can push them at Giants Stadium)."

Please PM or email me (mattk@nycbbb.com) for details or if you are interested in the ticket.

  7. I used to go just about every year, but noone could pay me to sit and listen to Jets fans, they make me sick and IMO losing to that team is a complete embarassment....Id rather be on the couch watching Drew go down 5-7 times and have the ability to use the Mute button or change the channel

Do what I do. Drink as much as possible before the game and don't wear Bills clothes.

This prevents Jests fans from giving you crap, and you black out the game.
