Complete game. 2009 Virginia Tech – Nebraska - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3TBYKjSbU The Virginia Tech Hokies and QB Tyrod Taylor pull out an improbable 16-15 win with a late TD score against Ndamukong Suh and Nebraska. Not a huge endorsement for TT but it was 2009. Last drive down 5 with a minute and a half and no time outs. Came away with win. Budding superstar. Now fast forward 6 years and . . . . story yet to be written.

Careful, all the EJ lovers will criticize you for calling EJ a BUM. In my experience they are a little testy when it comes to their precious 25 year old baby boy EJ who should not be tossed out with the bath water. IMO call him whatever you want!

Basically, you are right. I guess grasping onto EJ looking good against a bad Jets team can give you hope. It does nothing for me and I will be pulling for him if he starts as I want wins like al of us. I just don't think he will be the QB to do it.

Loser in terms or winning and losing. Record speaks for itself. Also, bowl games, really. He leaves FSU and they win national championship. Basically same team minus EJ. Simple math. And before anyone tries to claim the Carolina comeback had anything to do with EJ go look at the film. Penalty aided and FJ smart drop of a bad pass by EJ kept drive alive. I pray there is a team who wants to give us a draft pick for this monumental bust of a player. Loser at FSU and a loser now. Zebras don't change their stripes and neither will EJ. He will always be mediocre.

Couldn't agree with you more. Depth is the key to success. Look at NE Putzriots' running back Jonas Gray last year. Pulled from practice squad ran for 204 yards and 4 TDS. Then back to the bench. Depth wins championships. FJ will be #2 and the newbies will watch the veterans and learn.

I posted this response when there was the initial speculation that #22 would be cut. Liked it so much I thought I would share it again. Everyone who is counting FJ out is forgetting the intangibles. Great in pass protection. Good hands and great football sensibility. Can we all agree that the OL was a major problem last year? Is everyone forgetting the game winning stiff arm.
