  1. Sammy is great and it is a shame that so many "fans" have buyer's remorse. Most of you OBJ proponents are Monday morning QBs. Easy decision once you see him play with a top tier QB in. There are many great players that have not been selected by the Bills. No draft is perfect. Also, in my opinion OBJ #'s in Buffalo would be similar to Sammy's #s.

Clear as day ODB is better, running routes, getting separation, consistently catching the ball, and making spectacular catches Watkins isnt....doesn't matter who the QB is to see those things. IMO Beckham is the best player in the league right now. As I said in a different thread, Sammy is more like a bigger Lee Evans, than a smaller Julio Jones. He gets some first half strikes, but after defenses adjust to his speed, he becomes largely invisible...doesn't have the route running ability to get separation, running ability to turn short routes and reverses into big gains, nor the vertical to win jump balls. Against eagles also had some crucial drops.

He's good and can help win games....as Lee Evans was...but to compare him to OBD and a handful of other trule elite WRs is kinda silly.

Old Dirty Bastard? Didn't know Sammy Rapped.

  2. If it were just the defense going from #4 overall to #20, or the #1 sacking team going to 30th  But its not, and there is so much more!

    1. Its his big mouth by providing the opposing team bulletin board material to help motivate them!
    2. The Penalties, lack of team discipline is astounding at times. 15 penalties for 101 yards, in one game, really? The Eagles had 5 penalties.
    3. The special teams that was among the best last year with the same coach, and basically the same players is now one of the worst.
    4. Bad game management at times
    5. Bad red flag management at times
    6. inability to get the most out of the players on the roster. Players need to fit his scheme or it doesn't work is ludicrous that three all pro players from last year are now nearly invisible!
    7. utter failure in his area of expertise

Talk about a complete failure in just about every aspect of a team. One more year or five more years like he had with the NY Jets. I don't see this team going anywhere but down. Hire those consultants like the Jets did, and let them advise what course of action to take. The Jets dumped big talking Ryan, and hired a new GM-HC. They are now currently 8-5 with the 6th seed in the playoffs, and are winning with noodle arm Ryan Fitzpasspick. Plus they are currently tied with the 4th best record in the AFC with Chan Gailey as OC.

The Bills had a playoff caliber defense last year, and only need offensive upgrades. The team upgraded the offense, and now are going to deconstruct the defense. It makes no sense to me.

    LOVE Fitzpasspick. Classically funny.

  3. Firing Rex Ryan would be monumentally stupid.

Firing Rex Ryan would make the 2016 coach the fourth Bills HC since 2010. The Steelers will be on their fourth coach since 1966.

Do Bills fans not understand the correlation between continuity and consistency?

In fact, let's look at the top teams in the NFL and how far back you have to go to count four different coaching regimes. Again, with the Bills, you need only go to 2010. Green Bay ('92), New England ('91), Cincinnati ('92), Carolina, only four HC in the entire history of the franchise (dating back to '95), Denver ('95).

So yeah, let's just keep doing the one thing we HAVE been doing: cycling through coaches like toilet paper. It's never worked for us, and it's something successful teams don't do.

Agreed. Everyone was clamoring when Marrone took off. Now they are clamoring about Rex. Disappointment and frustration make people think irrationally. I too was skeptical about the hire and Rex bringing his staff in tow. Starting over now would just be a knee jerk reaction.

  4.

Sad that many will feel that way and I cannot blame them.

26CB -keep it up brother. I am disappointed and frustrated by the season. I will watch the game, evaluate the effort and embrace the fact that I am a Bills fan. Anyone who asks you "Who Cares" or "Why Watch" is a hypocrite because if they didn't care or want to watch why would they be on TBD posting.

  5. Last week there were 18 or more predictions that the Bills would lose or get blown out. This week almost all posting that they will win or blow them out. Is philly that much worse of a team (when healthy, which they are, at home, which they are) than Houston was on our home field? Asking because I don't get the huge sway of opinion.

Classic pain addicts. We are high from last week's win. When we lose coming down is brutal and we have no hope. Score one for the pain addicts. I predict a win coupled with agita.

  6. Yes If all of this happens we'll be in the 6th seed!

And a Barbary Ape can fly out of my ass too.

The Bills Don't deserve the playoffs the way they are playing. The playoffs should be for teams that play good consistent football in all three phases. My Team is just not doing that right now. I know I'll get blasted for being a pessimist but not feeling this desperation scenario crap. Talent is there. Coaching and heart are not.

    You nailed it!
