My two cents (which is worth less than two cents): This year could actually be seen as year one for JA as he was so inexperienced as a college QB. He was in a program that didn't expose him to pro-style anything. (Remember the Potato Bowl). The last two years made up for that lack of pro-style experience. I know it is hard to be patient as a Bills fan. We waited this long and I think this year is the year...

Players are driven by the economics and their playing opportunity as well. The owners can handle the hit to their wallets. Many players can't.

With the advent of the 80 inch high def TV, etc., the allure of the at game experience has waned for me. I like watching the game on TV. Camera angles, replay, and broadcaster commentary works for me. If you are at the stadium your neck is craned watching the jumbotron anyway. Plus I don't have to worry about driving home.

If a lawyer wants to be at a good firm he can get paid a competitive salary that isn't the highest salary for lawyers in his position. DP would be getting paid a very competitive salary. I know more people who have chased a higher pay check only to leave that position and regret that they did not stay where they were. I suspect DP will not put the ego down, understand that he is 1 of 32 starting QBs in the NFL, take the $$, and be a leader. Instead, this will be the beginning of the end for him in Dallas.

I get it. But he would be getting paid on this deal. Paid well and job security. Your new deal does not always need aways need to be the top number. That said enjoy your weekend Biscuit. I look forward to when we can discuss the Bills!!!
