Week 10: Bills at Jets — Predict the Score
BuffaloMatt replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you all are like me it is always fun to root for the underdog. I think that was the appeal of this team for the better part of two decades. These are unsettling times. I'd like to think the Bills bounce back and play well in all phases of the game. Us more than them! Go Bills!! -
Subtle intel from an offensive lineman with the team for a number of years and active for two games this year re: silent counts, hand signals, what to expect as far as play calls in certain down and distances, deception, how they cheat*.

Apparently has the ability to play all three positions. Plus, Intel on Pats.

Frank Gore fighting in heavyweight bout 12/18
BuffaloMatt replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gore = 16K career yards, 3 yards at a time. Will dominate. -
The Patriots released offensive lineman James Ferentz- Kick tires?

Did everyone see how the Indy OL ripped holes against the Jets defense front? Moss (if healthy) and Singletary would feast. Nothing against INDY's RBs they are good but their OL made them looked great (against the Jets).

Screens need time to develop and competent OL contribution in order to execute. Yesterday the few screens that were successful barely got off. His use of RPO fakes/play action no one bit on as no one believed the Bills were capable of running dives or off tackle effectively. When Allen kept the ball on the RPO linebackers weren't fooled. If he wants to run Allen needed to run powers or sweeps with the running back become the third blocker. For some reason he didn't want to attack edges. A little success on the outside would have softened the middle. I know I'm just an armchair OC. Thanks for listening.

It's like a guy who has a fast car and drives fast. It is expected. Allen makes him look better than he is and I think that is the knock on him. His creativity and game planning at this point in the season has been unimaginative and suspect. Six points with this offense (even with the porous OL) is atrocious. Indy, the Saints, and NE 2xs. That will be his put up or shut-up.

SO the DEFENSE had no energy? ONLY LET UP 9 POINTS. This quote is BS. That said, the play calling and OL OL OL OL OL was the Issue!!!!!!!!!!!! Ford might as well have been on the sideline. Our backs are not that bad. No holes, blocks and Allen was not getting any time for the later routes to develop. Needed to roll pocket, two tight ends, fullback.......anything but 5 step drops and shotgun pocket passing approach. Last drive- they got first down and just got close to FG range. THEN . . . Play calling horrendous. Ends with the 4 & 15 atrocity to Diggs. Reminded me of the Tyrod Taylor wild card loss to Jags. 🥚

Gunner, I agree with you that he can be selective. But going to a new team to turn around a culture is not as easy as Beane and McD made it seem. More often than not you wallow in three years of sh*t media scrutiny and get cut loose for the next great thing. Patricia, Nagy, Quinn, Gase, Fangio (it's coming), both Grudens and on and on and on . . . Garrett. Being a HC is thankless unless you win.....Being a big fish in a small pond is OK for many.

Dabol will be the McDaniels of the Bills. Some guys don't covet the HC job. Fraizer can attest to that based on his time he spent in Minnesota. Remember when Rex the douch$bag ran up the score on him in preseason. Frazier stays put as well. I've seen more people in regular business leave to chase what they thought was better $ or opportunity only to realize what they had and lost because they left that position and there was no going back. (unless you McDaniels).

Pats are 4-4 with a rookie QB and almost top 10 defense
BuffaloMatt replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chargers yesterday = Herbert was not great with accuracy 18-35, QBR 16.0 , 2 INTs, five drives end in punts, Ekeler was playing hurt. Defense 1 sack. -

Right below SF Used to hate 1:00 pm start. I've grown accustomed to it and love it now! Good practice for the Pats!

Plus, Bills have to be ready to play without him if he can't pass protocols. I think design and having a contingency plan both play a part here.

🤮 How I feel thinking about this game. -
❄️ ❄️ No chops considered busted. I guess as Dr. D said, "I'm just a sensitive snowflake". I guess my disdain for him stems from Gilmore never embracing BFLO or being on the team.
