WELL SAID. Sometimes you have to get creative and try to run the ball. And it may come in the form of swing pass, screens etc. Rams and SF notorious for running out of different looks.
Personally I don't think teams consider us to be a physical team.
They want to take us out to the deep water and so would I if I was playing against us.
Good teams win regardless of the weather. I love the Bills and bleed Blue Cheese and Loganberry, but I think we are soft and soft teams don't like bad weather.
I think they start him next week. Flacco is made of paper. He is there more to teach Wilson then to play. Jets want to see what White can do against Miami. I suspect he will have a better game. The problem was he was trying to win with hero ball when all he needed to do was lose proper i.e. make right reads, protect the ball etc. Early on he made some nice throws and reads. He went through his progressions quickly.
If you all are like me it is always fun to root for the underdog. I think that was the appeal of this team for the better part of two decades. These are unsettling times. I'd like to think the Bills bounce back and play well in all phases of the game.
Us more than them!
Go Bills!!
Subtle intel from an offensive lineman with the team for a number of years and active for two games this year re: silent counts, hand signals, what to expect as far as play calls in certain down and distances, deception, how they cheat*.
Did everyone see how the Indy OL ripped holes against the Jets defense front? Moss (if healthy) and Singletary would feast. Nothing against INDY's RBs they are good but their OL made them looked great (against the Jets).
Screens need time to develop and competent OL contribution in order to execute. Yesterday the few screens that were successful barely got off. His use of RPO fakes/play action no one bit on as no one believed the Bills were capable of running dives or off tackle effectively. When Allen kept the ball on the RPO linebackers weren't fooled. If he wants to run Allen needed to run powers or sweeps with the running back become the third blocker. For some reason he didn't want to attack edges. A little success on the outside would have softened the middle. I know I'm just an armchair OC. Thanks for listening.
