  1. I liked the read, but I for one couldn't say with certainty that the Bills would have one it all. I think they would have had a really good chance but they could have lost to either team. And if they lost to Cincy or the Rams the articles still would say "what if" just like the newspapers and websites were reporting in SF, GB, Tennessee and KC. Unless you win it all it's always gonna be "What if" . ..
  2. Did he knock out his wife and drag her out of a elevator? It's not like he is Joe Mixon. Watch this video and see the difference. Hmmm.. .
  3. If Ifs and Buts were candy and nuts. . . . I truly . . . . . blah blah blah. Gonna be a long offseason.
  4. I think Jerry stays. Just a gut feeling. And I think he'd stay on a vet minimum with incentives built in.
  5. I know noszing . . .Better ask Hogan
  6. Ahhh the offseason . . . .
  7. Titans roll with Tannehill. Rodgers stays put! One more year than he retires as it's clear he's not all in anymore.
  8. Players like to stay with winning teams. I foresee many a restructure.
  9. I believe he will get paid double of what he makes now and stay with a winner. He had 50 games where he was under a media microscope and he knows how brutal that is. Got paid in Chicago. Now he runs scout team, holds clipboard and made 2.5 mill. Next year he will get 5 mill and count it while eating a donut a sipping his Tim Hortons.
  10. Pass. . . I called a Pass play!!!
  11. 3 out of 4 road teams won last weekend. So I will go off on a tangent. I thought to myself today "Was I happier went they sucked?" When they were bad there was always the potential for bluer skies but my expectations were low. Now I/we have extremely high expectations and that is a slippery slope which doesn't allow us as fans any breathing room as it's SB or bust. I am not making excuses for the team and I have said it in other threads, it's easy to second guess and wonder what if, the fact is decisions were made and they didn't pan out. We should remember the many many lean years as a reminder of how bad it was and relish the fact that we have a quality team that has given us meaningful football deep into January and should do so for the foreseeable future. So to answer my own question. I am happier now because they are a relevant, exciting, dynamic football team. Whether there is a Lombardi Trophy in their future is uncertain, but that's why they play and we watch and love the game!
  12. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaahhhhhhh. . .. . .. .. . Nope. Didn't help.
  13. It could have been. Kickers today hit 50 plus regularly. Cincy kicker had two 50 plus in the divisional round. KC kick - 49 yards-had plenty of leg and height.
  14. Agreed. The Bills lost in a more dramatic fashion than the other three divisional games but not by much. Those all had WTF moments that the losing fanbases have been chewing on for the last three days
  15. A little bit .. . .
  16. I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm trying to be more objective. Maybe I'm a little further along the five stages of grieving. 😉
  17. Their drive before, they went 75 yard in five plays to take the lead. Before that the huge punt return and we were fortunate to hold them to 3 points. It is ok to say they are a damn good team, we had our shot, we were fortunate and got some breaks to get back in that game and it just didn't pan out. I hate that they lost and it's easy to try and find blame to make us feel better. Josh with two time outs and 13 seconds gets Bass a shot. I truly believe that.
  18. I love you all . .. . and like you I have dissected and dissected and reran the last two plays over and over and my head is going to explode with the thoughts of what if or what could have been. Nothing is going to change the result and that is what really sucks. Big bite of a sh#t sandwich with the musty taste lingering until at least the draft or a KC loss in the next two weeks.
  19. Still gutted. But the kick off was not the issue. Defensive scheme on the next two plays was the death blow. The fact that #10 turns a five yard pass into a 19 yard gain- mind boggling. Then the next play allows TE to run unmolested for 23 yards reception - utter atrocity. (Their names deliberately omitted). Madden rolled over in his grave muttering his famous "prevent defense" quote. He was right!
