This is a fuc$ing hit piece because Dunne didn't get press access to the Bills for his new website/podcast/etc. I hope the team rallies around McD!

Citing anonymous disgruntled prior coaches and players who didn't say anything when they could have had have their names attached to it. And something that happened four years ago that was twisted to make it seem worse then it was.

I don't know if it's just me ... but after the last 13 weeks, I'm burned out with this team. I'm a season ticket holder,  and I'll be out there the next 2 weeks regardless and sporting the red, white and blue ... but I really don't care anymore.

But then again, maybe it is just me ... I don't care about much of anything any more.

I looked to the Bills to be a distraction from everything else in my life,  but they're just as F'd as everything else

Hang in there. It is easy to see the things that are F'd up. Look beyond that, it's hard to do at times, but when you do you will see the things that really matter.

The commentary on Von stood out to me, toward the beginning.

Sounds like Beane & the Front Office are confident that Von will not be charged with any crime and this could potentially be a misunderstanding.

Maybe we should be cautious this time around (ex: Araiza) and let things play out before crucifying Von...

Did you read Ryan O'Hollaran? https://buffalonews.com/sports/professional/nfl/bills/buffalo-bills-von-miller-terry-pegula-brandon-beane-sean-mcdermott-assault-accusations-ryan-ohalloran/article_d38a4634-9457-11ee-8826-23e0047be01a.html. Really trying to pick up where Sully left off.

  4. I continue to waffle on this point. After last game I would have fired him on the spot. I have softened on this point because I remember the past and I see what this team has become since he became coach. I believe that he sticks around and they bring in a new DC and maybe a new OC, but that is to be determined on the final five games. So far change in OC looks encouraging.

Allen and Diggs are, obviously, our two most talented players and it seemed that Dorsey leaned on them.  Other guys made supplemental contributions but the offense relied on Allen-to-Diggs at critical times.

Today we won without Allen-to-Diggs being very effective.  Brady was able to put 32 points on the board against a top D without the key combo working.  I don't think Dorsey could have done that.

I loved seeing Cook, Kincaid, Shakir and others making the offense work.  It turns out we have other weapons.

After philly plays tonight their DC now has something to think about. Bills instantly less predictable.

I have read a lot of posts defending McD, but this is a first.

So what you are saying is that if and when McClappy gets fired, the Bills' value will decrease by over $2 Billion.

    Hmmm.

If he failed to pick QB and change culture things would be different. How soon everyone forgets.

Extensions don't matter for coaches. Coach salaries don't impact the cap, and Pegula has shown a willingness to pay coaches to go away many times with the Sabres. Heck, he paid Rex Ryan for three years to not coach the team.

As neophyte owners the Pegulas hired Rex with a fully gauranteed contract on the advice from tool bags Whaley and Brandon. The Pegulas got rid of Rex when they started to wise up as an owners and realized the Rex hire was horrendous. McD help resurect a franchise that they paid 1.4 billion dollars for. Now it is worth 3.7 billion, Bills have a franchise QB and a new stadium is on the way. McD is a big part of that. Not going anywhere.

Actually, like I said, they really should have had their defensive FG squad in place on 3rd down, because Denver was just killing time before kicking the FG, ssssooooo, the Head ball coach, Sean McClappy, should have made the decision and directed his FG squad to get out there for 3rd down, after the Bills used their final timeout. That would have been his call, NOT the STs coach. 😉 I highly doubt the STs coach can just make those types of decisions on his own. It’s 13 seconds part 2…the Head Coach needed to step up and override the STs coach.

As it actually happened, the Bills’ FG unit had to do a “Chinese Fire Drill” with the Dime Pkg players already on the field, as the clock was ticking down after Denver’s 3rd down kneel down. Please tell me, exactly, AT THAT POINT, how does the STs coach ensure that the proper 11 guys are out there!? 🤔

That throw by JA17 was late AND BEHIND Davis, and that’s the primary reason why it was picked. That is clearly seen in the video.

Agree to disagree. You have a special teams coach for a reason. Needed to have his guys ready and didn't. That said because we will both stand by our opinions, McD and Beane are not going anywhere as they both signed extensions this offseason.

Seems obvious to me that one player may have screwed up big time. I assume that the FG defensive unit is always the same 11 guys, so unless one of those guys was injured, who was the 12th guy who shouldn’t have been out there? After Wilson did the kneel down on 3rd down (that play started with :24 left), the Broncos had to run their FG team out there (as the clock was running) and the Bills ran at least FIVE guys from the sideline out there, going from their Dime Pkg to the FG unit. There really wasn’t time for a Bills defensive Capt to do a head count at that point; and it wouldn’t have mattered anyway because they couldn't call a TO, and there wouldn’t have been enough time for the 12th man to run off the field.

Bottom line is that during those two previous TOs that the Bills took (after Denver's 1st and 2nd downs, immediately after the PI call on Johnson) everything should have been planned out as to who was going to be out there for the FG. Hell, the FG defensive unit should have been put out there on 3rd down.

Thank you for agreeing that special teams coach screwed the pooch.

Why? Is the coach hitting those short punts? How about on the coverage of punts….are the players not responsible for staying in their lanes, shedding blocks, and making good tackles?

This Bills team is FILLED with players who DO NOT execute….DO NOT DO THEIR JOBS….on game days. Have been seeing it ALL YEAR LONG. Yes, coaching is integral to a successful team, BUT there is only so much the coaches can do. Like I’ve said a few times in here recently, it looks like a lot of these players are just in it for the paycheck, and could not care less whether they win or lose. Missing the playoffs means more time off for them, and I’m certain many players are just fine with that.

Special teams needed to be able to count to twelve.

The punter with the dead leg need is a different story all together. He needed to be told to punt differently. If you are going to punt a line drive because your leg can't get hang time and distance at the same time then kick the line drive down the sideline to go out of bounds, not down the middle right to their return man.

Should have canned McClappy too, obviously. Dorsey is the scapegoat. He didn’t drop balls or throw INTs or fumble the ball. X4

The past six games (whole season) our offense has been predictable. The opposing DCs look like they are coaching the 85 Bears. This has made executing the plays more difficult and in turn has bearing on the turnovers, all year, not just last night.

Once upon a time, a loss like this , or any loss, would piss me off and ruin my week!

    Not anymore.

I take these losses in stride now. Realizing that it's just a game and really is meaningless in the great scheme of things and really has no bearing on my life.

Being a Bills fan for almost 50 years does that to a person I suppose.

    And this too shall pass.

Well Said, I too with age have been able to temper my disappointment. I actually told my wife that although I was unhappy with the result and watching the game was brutal it gave me an opportunity to converse with my son who is away at school and stay connected to my Buffalo friend base through texts and calls throughout the game which was enjoyable. Go Bills!

Martin's not a liability... he hasn't cost us one single game. The fact that there is an obsession over a punter when we have so many more serious problems is disturbing

My post was an indictment of Martin, not in support of MA. Martin is great punting from the 30 yard line or better. He's old and his leg is limited. Not gonna save us if we start within our own 10-15 yard line (like we did three times versus Cincy) and go three and out. Cincy worked short fields all game and sent Martin a game ball.

Here we go again with this. There was a MASSIVE thread about it when this news dropped months ago.

But now we realize Martin is a liability.
