Special teams needed to be able to count to twelve. The punter with the dead leg need is a different story all together. He needed to be told to punt differently. If you are going to punt a line drive because your leg can't get hang time and distance at the same time then kick the line drive down the sideline to go out of bounds, not down the middle right to their return man.

Most teams looked like the were the 85 Bears against our offense. No scheme, no plan and predictable. So, yes. It was time.

And they should have shitcanned Special Teams too.

The past six games (whole season) our offense has been predictable. The opposing DCs look like they are coaching the 85 Bears. This has made executing the plays more difficult and in turn has bearing on the turnovers, all year, not just last night.

Well Said, I too with age have been able to temper my disappointment. I actually told my wife that although I was unhappy with the result and watching the game was brutal it gave me an opportunity to converse with my son who is away at school and stay connected to my Buffalo friend base through texts and calls throughout the game which was enjoyable. Go Bills!

My post was an indictment of Martin, not in support of MA. Martin is great punting from the 30 yard line or better. He's old and his leg is limited. Not gonna save us if we start within our own 10-15 yard line (like we did three times versus Cincy) and go three and out. Cincy worked short fields all game and sent Martin a game ball.

But now we realize Martin is a liability.

Safeties look old and tired. And the offensive scheme is offensive.

I love being the underdog today. National media is all in on Cincy. No one is picking the Bills in any capacity and I too think this is a bad matchup for the Bills. That said, I am drawn back to Thanksgiving versus Dallas. It has got that feel.. . . No one picked the Bills to win. . . no one. They did, it was Josh's national coming out party, and tonite feels eerily similar to me. Go Bills!

Agreed. My money is on it hurts us more than it helps. It is a tough stat to figure out as it is hard to say what would have happened if the play was allowed to run. In this game I believe the game ends and TB doesn't score.

As I said above his timeouts killed us and gave them two more. Situationally here he failed. Why make a team use their TOs just to assist them by calling two TOs with time ticking away?

Just rewatched the end of the game on NFL Network reply. Fourth down right before Evans TD the play clock is down to four secs and TB scrambling and trying to get to line and TO Bills. Gave TB WRs a chance to catch their breath and OC a chance to dial up play. THEN with 16 seconds left in game Bills call TO erasing a would be sack. TB gets a rest and another chance to call a play. Not sure why either had to be called as it gave TB two more TOs, rest and their first year OC time to think. TB final two drives five TOs (2 gifted to them) and 2minute warning. That's a fail for McD!

Have you watched the past three weeks? KC 5-1, Eagles 5-1, Cowboys 4-2, Miami 4-2, Bengals 3-3. Right now our defense is not the same that beat Miami and all these offenses will have a field day with our lack of pass rush and DL play. Mac Jones 75 yards in under 2 minutes. I'm still shaking my head. One sack yesterday. JA calling situation bleak. That's why Bills don't get a pass.

Our defense/pass rush looks horrible. Our offense has the yips. Eagles, Cowboys, KC, Miami, and Bengals. The way our team look s right now these games don't look like Ws to me. 🤢
