Josh Allen will end up killing us in the long run
Yeah, he should have known Diggs would suddenly slow on his route.

if the Bills run the ball well today, we may have seen the last of Lee Smith. If not, he will be “very” active next week. That's a good point. I wonder if we're more likely to see him as weather gets worse.

Darnold just looks shook out there
I wouldn't be surprised if Darnold has a Tannenhill type of career, assuming Tannenhill continues to play at a decent to good level.

There might be a correlation between those who would attend a Missouri football game in a pandemic and a certain stance on social issues such as BLM.

It's a good thing we were talking about this on our board so Beane could get this idea!!! 😋

Yep, that’s what they thought in Cleveland. Sorry, Tyrod is what he is. There is no mystery, no untapped potential. Solid person, below average QB skills.
You might be right, but it is also important to remember that, Hue coaching < Lynn coaching and considering how Tyrod did with Lynn that < might be <<<

Wrong.
This is the culture that McDermott uses in his team building.
Yes, he can find better players than DiMarco & Smith, but he has them on the team for the intangibles. Leadership is important to McDermott.
And while people can always surprise you, it seems quite unlikely McD is the type of guy one could get "pictures" of in the first place.

I mean someone stepping on his foot isn't exactly his fault
Yeah, it's unfortunate, but it's not like we're in the tier of getting injured from a rubber mat.

Thad just can’t help himself. Even while complimenting Josh, he can’t just leave it there. Has to take his customary swipe.
Thad = Rodak?

Can we stay on topic @matter2003 and @arcane? This is about training camp not how US is and isnt handling it.

the protests are the cause of the summer outbreak. States were open and doing just fine pre protest. They started end of may and mid June you see the big spike. To be very clear I support what they protested for but sadly there have been some very bad consequences. This is why we can't have nice things.

I'd say the silver lining is that this is happening now. Gives the league time to make sure the lab figures their #@&^ out or to contract with someone more competent.

Its the new arc of Josh Allen's deep ball
If that's the case, I think he should beat Mahomes pretty easily at their throwing contest.

So then what does he expect for this year with Le'Veon Bell on his team? 120 yards?

Interesting. Although they acknowledge that due to the lack of an RNA extraction step that the sensitivity takes a hit, meaning more false negatives than traditional nucleic acid amplification tests. Fast and cheap are good though.
And perhaps if it's fast and cheap enough they can authorize enough tests for any player who tests positive to rule out any false positives.

I think Long is a high level backup / replacement level starter. He isn't ever going to lose you a game single handed. Offensive lineman in that mold are very much in short supply league wide. Wouldn't shock me if he ended up starting for San Fran.
Kind of like Kraig Urbik?

Not as talented as Kyle but reminds me of that grit, work ethic and team player personality.

We can like him again and stop making disparaging remarks!!!!

it certainly would be in the mega billsy territory.
The problem is how many unknowns there are. It also would be incredibly Billsy if he plays, catches COVID and is one of those young people who develop long term lung or heart problems and his career ends.
What are the odds of that? 1%? .1%? 5%? He falls into several higher risk categories.

Are players going to be forced to wear masks throughout all of training camp and into the regular season?
I mean, there was that doctor who ran a marathon in one so I have to think it wouldn't affect them that much.

I'm really trying to be more considerate to conflicting opinions, but I have to say, the level of ignorance in this post is astonishing---even for a sports-related forum.
Let me see if I can some up with a post as dumbfoundingly stupid taking the opposite position.
Any player* who decides to play must not care for other humans at all. They must want to purposefully risk infecting others, possibly causing death or lifelong pain and suffering. They must love money more than their families and friends.
How am I doing. I know, that's not quite as ignorant as yours, but gimme some time to work on it.
* Veteran or signed draft choice. All are eligible for at least $150K to sit out. I've reserved judgement on the undrafted rookies who may not be eligible for any pay (from what I've heard--maybe that has been settled)
Yeah I didn't respond to that post because I thought/really hoped it was a troll. The alternative would suggest a lot of hardship for that person's future.
