We have the talent and the player comradery you need. McDermott is just to soft and it shows with all the penalties not to mention makes bone head decisions. Good coaches put a tall player back there like Belichick did with Gronkowski to knock the ball down. Poyer, Tre, etc got as high as they could not their fault. Wasn't enough.

We should of put Davis or Knox back there. Frazier has the d at the bottom of the league and Dabbol with his college plays are not aggressive enough. Its unfortunate.

    Dealing with emotions is hard.

I agree. Statisticians are an interesting breed. Dealing with them when I’m doing budgets is particularly interesting as they base their view of what I will do across the entire organization (this is in my last life). I consistently outpaced the many but that was never factored in.

I fought it tooth and nail to no avail. That’s just the way they work...and I understand it...but don’t agree with it.

I feel like they are really good at getting the science down for that 90-95% of situations, but can't (due to mathematical models) account for nuance. The Bills have played significantly better than their point differential.

  3. I think it is worth noting that we all remember Zimmer's play at the end, but I would counter with Allen-Diggs miscom is another play that stands out. Both teams had a play that should have ended differently and had Allen and Diggs not miscommunicated the Bills would have more points and the Pats less.

I don't know if this was mentioned anywhere, but did anyone else notice Jackson and Allen hug after the game. It's nice to see that what happened last year truly was an accient and that there is no bad blood between the two.

    It's not surprising at all.

These are just baseless right wing talking points that don't reflect reality.

Prior to the election, they had the amount of mail in's listed which could be sorted by party affiliation, age, etc...

No one cared or said anything about the breakdown until now...strange how that works.

In other words, you are exactly correct.

  5. I think this is a really emotional year for the Bills. Allen looks legit and the Pats look really vulnerable. I think that combined with certain worldly events and I think people are more likely to overreact positive or negative.

That is not to say that any critique is an overreaction, Aussie Joe's posts are not overreactions on this thread. The point is I agree with you Dingus and it seems like perspective is hard to come by sometimes.
