Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
BuffaloHokie13 replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Considering the tactic she used to get her seat is called primarying, I would hope she knows about primaries. Though, with her you never know... -
People discount the Lamar stats because Lamar never attempted more than 25 passes in a game, and never completed more than 14. Pretty standard to assume that lower attempts would lower production. We're talking about a QB that had 170 pass attempts and 147 rush attempts. The entire format of their offense changed.

Could be something or nothing, but Brandon Beane was the person who signed Mario Addison to the Panthers from Washington's practice squad.

There will be cap casualties and camp cuts. We'll see if anyone shakes free that could help our roster. On the bright side we can bid big if a player who is worth it shakes free, or jump on a trade if a player and team are far apart. Lots of options at this point.

No, they can't roll over cap that they spend. There is no reason to spend more on a player than the value you have assessed them at.

They do have plenty of cap, but cap rolls over too. He knew how much he was willing to risk on the shoulder and stood by it imo. Stay flexible, maybe grab some camp/cap casualties.

I disagree. I think Ansah's reps used the willing media to try to drive up the price. Beane called it publicly, and didn't raise his price privately, effectively forcing Ansah to the Seahawks. Beane is pretty calculated. He had a value set for Ansah and he wasn't going to exceed it, especially not from a media report about another team becoming the favorite.

The Deep State War Heats Up
BuffaloHokie13 replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I tried that once. It didn't go well. -
The search function is pretty rough, tbh. What terms can I search to find the post you want me to read? I went through your activity instead of the search function. So your assertion is that John Brown isn't the defacto #1 because he didn't produce due to injuries in Denver (he was in Arizona, I think you just team swapped Brown & McKenzie) and his best year was the first 8 games in Baltimore. The injury concern I think is a bit moot. In his 5 seasons he has played in 16, 15, 15, 10, and 16 games. He was WR3 in Arizona, even when he was healthy. When he got the opportunity to be WR1 he paced for and 1100 yard season until the team swapped to a QB that ran nearly as often as he threw. But even simpler than that, I'm just looking at who are the best 3 WRs on our roster. The answer, to me at least, is very clearly John Brown, Robert Foster, and Cole Beasley. I'm not looking at them as 1, 2, & 3 - I'm looking at Foster as X, Brown as Z, and Beasley as Slot. Look at them head to head. I don't believe Zay is better at any of those roles than those any of those guys.
